'I want a divorce, William.' My mother says. My dad and I were playing a card game at the time. Well, it turned more into a couples game. Also known as, an argument.

' I'll just pack my bags and leave then you bitch! You can go fuck yourself!' My dad says walking to their bedroom. 'I can't believe you would actually say that, Kris. I can't believe it. I love you.' I was only nine... So I had no idea what the hell was up.

' William I love you too. I'm so sorry I said that. I didn't mean it.' I am so confused. Its not even funny.

Its 9 o' clock at night. My sister, Amy was in her room already. My sister Sarah, was in her room too. So like what else am I supposed to do? Sarah's and my own room was right next to each others. I went up there and like she always was, she was watching Cops. Her and I always watch the show together. I jump on the bed with her.

'Hey sis.' I say.

'Hey Em. Whatcha up to?' Her number one reply to almost everything I say.

'Nothing. Can I watch TV with you?' I ask. I have a funny feeling tonight she'll say no because its Sunday. We have school at 8 o' clock in the morning tomorrow and we have to get up at 6:30 a.m.

' Not tonight Em. We have school tomorrow. I was just about to head to bed. Okay? Go to bed and get some rest. We need sleep.'

'Okay. Goodnight sis!' I say, sadly.

'Goodnight Em.'

I wake up as my sister Sarah is yelling from the bottom of the steps. I finally yell back 'IM UP!' Once I start walking. I run into the bathroom... And throw up. My sister is running upstairs and calling me in from school.

'You stay home today. Stay in bed oka? You need to feel better.' She tells me.

'Okay. I will.' I reply.

I go back to my room and lie down. I close my eyes to the sound of my bus picking my sisters up, and my parents throwing glass at each other...
