So let's begin this story of the youngest of the Gremory Siblings by seeing what led to his rather strange new lot on life and the Eccentric friend he makes along the way.

Angels, Fallen Angels, Devils beings of fantasy that to the general public are mere fantasy. That however is false, these powerful beings very much exist and walk amongst humanity. Within the Devil Faction is the Gremory Family, a clan of notoriety within the faction itself. Headed by Zeoticus Gremory and his wife, Venelana Gremory it is one of the more powerful families amongst the Devils. Their union led to three children. Sirzechs the eldest son of the family, already married. Rias the second eldest, currently in the process of preparing her own peerage.
Although the youngest sibling is Lucien Gremory, a Devil lacking the rest of his family's magic prowess. This of course has led his parents and siblings to worry over his safety due to his lack of magical power. A lesser known fact, is that Lucien has despised his own shortcomings for quite some time now. The young devil simply wishes to make his family proud and live up to the Gremory name. A task that is easier said then done when you lack the power needed to achieve such a feet. Sometimes a person can be their own worst enemy in life.

Inside a fifteen year old boy with crimson red hair pulled back into a clean and proper ponytail walked through the halls as the maids bowed to him as he passed. "To think they would bow to the likes of you!" A taunting voice said within the boy's head as he continued to pass the servants. The boy shook his head slightly to silent the voice before stopping in front of a set of double doors. Not forgetting his manners, the boy knocked on the front door.
"Come in." A strong voice said before the teenager stepped into the room where a man with the exact same hair as him was waiting.

This was young Lucien's father, Zeoticus Gremory. "You called for me father." Lucien said as he waited for his father to explain what he was needed for. "Yes, well as you know your sister has started preparing to form her own peerage. I thought now would be a good time for you to possibly pick your training back up." Zeoticus said in a neutral voice as he knew this was a rather touchy subject with his youngest child. Lucien bit back a frustrated growl as he did not want to take the anger he held towards himself out on his father, who was simply trying to help.
"Wasting brother's time on a hopeless endeavor seems like a rather poor decision father." Lucien said calmly as if he had said that line hundreds of times. "Like how you doing the Gremory name justice is a pointless endeavor?" The voice whispered in Lucien's mind as he bit back a nasty insult. Zeoticus slowly walked up to his son before gently resting his hands on Lucien's shoulders. "Lucien, I have told you, your mother has told you, Sirzechs and Rias have told you countless times. Training you is not pointless." Zeoticus said in a reassuring tone as he tried to boost his son's confidence.
Lucien once again held back a sigh as his family always told him that, even if it was in his eyes a waste of their time. "Father, I can barely cast the simplest of spells, what hope do I have of wielding our family's magic?" Lucien tried to reason as he still didn't see how trying what has already failed multiple times would pay off eventually. Zeoticus gave his son one last pat on the back before stepping away. "Please just think about it Lucien, you know it would make your mother happy." Zeoticus said before Lucien left the room. "I will father." Lucien said simply before exiting, leaving his father alone once again.
Lucien walked through the halls of the manor as he was lost in his thoughts. "You know the definition of insanity? Doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results. Sounds like the perfect description of you trying to actually be worthy of the Gremory name!" The voice in his head said as it continued to taunt Lucien. Lucien let a quiet annoyed groan slip past his lips as he hated listening to that damn voice, even if it was right. "I wish I could achieve different results to finally silence that irritating pest!" Lucien growled under his breath as he continued to walk.
Lucien was seated in his room as he tried to focus on studying so he could at least not embarrass his parents or siblings next time an important gathering occurred. "Still trying to accomplish the impossible? Your only decent trait is your persistence." The voice said as Lucien slammed his book shut before punching his desk in frustration. "I need to calm down, I should go out flying, that usually does the trick." Lucien thought to himself as he got up from his desk as a pair of bat like wings sprung from his lower back as he opened the window to his room and few out.
