The beginning

Dear diary, I'm Marinette

Today was the first day back at school. Of course, I was almost late. Chloe was in my class again... fourth year in a row! There was also a new girl. Her name is Alya. I sit next to her in class. She seems really cool and I'm happy to be friends with her.

Moving on, Ivan turned into some giant rock monster of some sort. I don't know how but he is destroying the city. When I got home there was some weird black box with a red design on it. I didn't know what it was until I opened it and I saw a pair of earrings. I didn't get a good look at them since a giant flash of pink came out of the box. It was some weird flying creature called a kwami. I was scared at first until it started speaking to me. It's name was Tikki. Tikki explained stuff about the miraculous and what it does and what it's about. I said the transformation words and suddenly I was wearing a costume that was red with black spots... Almost like a ladybug. I had a yo-yo that seemed to also be a device I could use to call my partner with. Oh yes! My partner, he calls himself Chat Noir. He has the power of destruction and so far, he has a sense of humour. We fought Ivan, well, he calls himself Stoneheart. We got him de-akumatized so he turned back to his normal self. Being a superhero is kinda hard though. I was supposed to capture the akuma but I didn't so now people are turning into stone! I am not fit to be a superhero.
