Chapter Three
Crushes and Victory Dances

After the guys went home, Lilith came home from her date with Levi. She told Delilah all about it, of course. She's the type of person to spill everything about dates and guys and relationships. Delilah listened, not caring all that much. Brent was on her mind and she couldn't shake the thought of him. "You're thinking about a guy, aren't you?" Lilith asks, noticing her sister's spacey behavior.
"What?" Delilah asks, her voice dreamy. "You're thinking about a guy!" Lilith repeats, grinning widely.
"N-no I'm not." Delilah denies, shaking her head.
"Yes you are! Your glasses are fogging up, so you're lying!"
She takes them off and cleans the lenses with the hem of her tee shirt.
"Fine, I was thinking about a guy." She sighs.
"I knew it!" Lilith shouts and does a little victory dance.
"Is it Brandon?" She asks, stopping. Delilah shakes her head.
"Brent." She quietly admits. "Oh, my god! I knew you liked him!" Lilith says.
"Do not say anything to David. He'd flip a cow." Delilah says. "I won't." Lilith says.
What Delilah doesn't know is that Lilith crossed her fingers behind her back.
After Delilah went upstairs to shower, Lilith ran straight to her room and got on her phone.
"David." She says when he picks up on the third ring. "Yeah, what's up?"
"Our little Delilah has a crush." She says. "Oh, my god. Who is it?" David asks. Lilith laughs at her brother going into over protective mode."Brent." She says.
"Really? I noticed that her glasses tend to fog up when he looks at her." David says.
"I know, isn't it cute?" Lilith squeals in delight. "You know what we should do?"
"What should we do?" Lilith asks. "We should set them up." He says. "Absolutely." Lilih shrieks.
"Tomorrow, we should somehow get them to meet up without the other knowing about it." Lilith says.
Once they get a plan made, Lilith hangs up the phone and dances around happily.
Delilah is going to kill her for this.

Delilah walks into Lilith's room to see why she's squealing. "What're you so giddy about?" She questions her sister, who is rapidly typing away on her cell phone. "No reason." Lilith squeaks, when she's actually texting David about the plan. "Oh...kay.." Delilah says, turning on her heel and walking out. "She is so oblivious." Lilith whispers to herself, still typing.
