Not a Dude Ranch

Lorli's P.O.V.

As I lead the Slades to their cabin I explained some of the rules of the ranch and things they could do here, seeing as they were here all summer.

"Ok ya'll lets talk about rules of the ranch-"

"There are rules?" Asked Xavier

"Of course there are rules Xavier! please continue Lorli."

"Thank you Mrs.Slade, as I was saying the rules are as follows, no drinking on the premises, no outside visitors or guests, curfew for anyone under 18 is 10 pm, if renting a farm vehicle you must have a license to drive the means no learners, and any behavior towards the animalsn and or employees that could be considered as abuse or harrassment will result in imediately being asked to leave the ranch without refund, any questions?"

" I have one, why the curfew?" asked Xavier.

" After ten, when the sun goes down, the coyotes and the wild cats come out. It's a laibility thing."

" But they wont attack you... will they?"

" they're wild animals, you can never be too careful." i finished just as we made it to the cabin. " Ok Mr. and Mrs.Slade here is your cabin the bedroom is on the left with the bathroom connected, the Living room is to the right and the kitchen is next to the living room. you should find a list of possible activities on the kitchen table and if you need anything the phone in the bedroom is preprogrammed with the numbers for general information and the main house. Here are your keys, and thank you for staying with us." I finished as i had countless times before, handing them their keys.

" Thank you Lorli, you have been very helpful, now Xavier... Behave." said Mr. Slade.

" I will."

"Good now you two should probably get going im sure Lorli is very busy."

" Oh no sir not today, we here at Crystal Ridge make it a necessity to get to know our guests, so tonight we there are a few get togethers going on, one for the parents up at the main house hosted by my parents. One for the Kids 17 and under in the main barn, they'll be getting to know the horses and other animals, they'll be done at 10 and then escorted to the main house by the ranch hands. Lastly there will be on for the young adults, 18 and older, at the back barn."

" Ok thank you Lorli we will definetly be in attendance." said Mrs.Slade.

" good to hear i will see ya'll later then," i said as a walked away with Xavier following behind me. We walked in a comfortable silence as we made it to the boys's cabin to find that Sutton, Rain, Mallory, and the boys already were there.

" What took you so long? Ya decide to have some fun on the way here?"  Jay asked winking.

"Excuse me?" i said with a cocked eyebrow.

"Ow!" Yelled Jay as Sutton hit him upside the head with a glare. "Why'd you do that?"

"That is no way to treat a lady! plus i find you extremely-"

"Attractive?"

"- Annoying." Sutton said irratated.

" you're hot when you're irritated."

" Why you-!"

" Thats enough you two!" I yelled. " Now we need to get going if we're going to make the Back barn before 7.  Boys all the  bedrooms are down that hal to the left." i said as we entered the Cabin. " The living room and kitchen are two the right and each room has its own bathroom. i suggest wearing jeans tonight as we are taking the 4 wheelers to get to the back barn and they can severly burn you if you're not careful."

" Okay thank you where are we meeting to go to the barn?" asked Ky.

" we'll pick you up." said Rain. "we'll be here at 6:30."

"Okay." said Ky. Afterwards me and the girls headed back to the main house to get ready for what was sure to be an interesting night."

Yeah yeah its short but i just totally had a stroke of creativity and felt the urge to write as requestd by maggiemay1998 hopefully will be updating next week!
