Lloyd grunted as he came closer and closer to the ledge. He panted as his foot almost slipped. His heartbeat quickened and he pulled himself up. He saw someone lean over the edge. He saw someone smirk at him.
That "someone" was Willow. She crouched and took his hands, although she wasn't pulling him up.
"The Ultimate Spinjitzu Master," She said coldly."Glad to see you still don't understand." She threw him down the cliff.
"No!" Lloyd yelled.
Everything went black.
Lloyd gasped and sat up. He panted as his heart slowed down from its racing speed. He instantly covered his mouth once he realized that his breathing was echoing through the Samurai X Cave. A loud rining peirced the air. Loudest alram clock. Ever.
"Ugh." Jay said burying himself in his sleeping bag. Lloyd stood and stretched.
"Nice to see you want us to leave so soon." Willow smirked, Lightly kicking Jay.
"Come you two," He looked at Lloyd."And we will meet my brother at the mountain."
"Mountain?" Lloyd and Willow echoed in unison.
"Yes. Garmadon and I agreed that would be the best location to train."
"Alright..." Jay murmured."Get out of here so we can go back to sleep."
Willow and Lloyd looked at each other and chuckled.
"Let's go."
* * *
"Dad!" Lloyd cried, hugging his father.
"Lloyd," Garmadon smiled but it vanished. He took him by the shoulders."I must speak with you." He pulled Lloyd aside, a little ways from Wu and Willow.
"What is it?"
"I had a dream. Willow... She can't be trusted." Lloyd looks over at Willow, who was trying on Wu's hat. He heard her distant laugh and smiled.
"Really?" Lloyd frowned and looked at Garmadon."But I had a dream to... Several dreams... Where Willow has been consumed by darkness and..." He shook his head. "But I still have faith in her. I still believe she has Light inside of her, not darkness."
"You really care for her, don't you?" Lloyd looked back over at Willow. She stopped laughing and met Lloyd's eyes. They shared smiles and Lloyd looked away, blushing.
"Yeah..." He said."I guess I do."
Garmadon smiled."We'll give her a chance. She needs to master her powers one way or another." Lloyd forced a smiled on his face. They walked back over to Wu and Willow as an annoying thought made Lloyd feel like Willow was hiding something.
No. Not possible. No.
"Everything okay?" Willow asked Lloyd and Garmadon.
"Yeah," Lloyd said."Everything's fine."
"Alright," Willow looked at the two sensei's."Where do we start?"
"We start," Wu mused."With balance." He looked at Lloyd and his father."You two can search for supplies while I'll train Willow."
"Wait," Lloyd stepped forward."Why all three of us train her?" Garmadon's hand found Lloyd's shoulder.
"Some of us are more skilled with different techniques." He smiled."Don't worry, Lloyd, we'll come back soon." Lloyd looked back at Willow with his heartbeat in his fingers and took her hand.
"Will you be okay?"
"Yeah," She replied with a smile.
"Stay safe." Garmadon said and walked off. He walked off and Lloyd met Willow's eyes. He followed his father and slowly let go of Willow's hand.
