Ever since I was little, I've never felt like I've belonged in my family. It doesn't exactly help when your parents are the king and queen. As the third child of five, my presence really didn't matter. My older brother, Prince Shawn, was the heir to the throne and my parent's favorite child. My older sister, Princess Kiera, was the heartthrob of the male population. Then there was me, Princess Julia, the useless, adventurous, middle child, who acted like they were anything but royalty yet somehow the public actually liked me. Finally, my younger sister and brother, Princess Melissa and Prince Oliver. They were also ignored by my parents so I made sure to spend time with them and swore to be there for them whenever, wherever. I hated that I was basically doing my parents' job for them. When they did pay attention to us, there was always a reason and it was never usually good. They would always scold me for "acting out of line" even if it wasn't true and was nothing but a rumor. Their negligence was only one of my issues. I self-identified as Bi but I knew that I could never tell anyone. I knew that if my parents found out, they'd probably try to disown me. The press could use it to cause riots, incite violence, or potentially harm my family. Even though they ignored me, at the end of the day, they were still my family and I still loved them.
