I guess I'm attempting this again. In advance: sorry if you like the plot of this but you think it's poorly written.
Enjoy!

It was only 2:30pm but Connor decided to start getting ready for his date. He was so nervous and excited at the same time.Connor headed to the bathroom and took a shower. When he finished, he dried off and placed a towel around his waist. He headed to his room and started picking out clothes but couldn't decide what. There was a mess on top of his bed. There were shirts, pants, jackets, sweaters etc... He had many options but nothing seemed appropriate.
Is this too casual? Too fancy?
Connor finally settled with a blue and green flannel, black jeans, and beige shoes.
After rubbing lotion all over himself, he quickly got dressed. He buttoned his shirt all they way up, even though he could already barely breathe.
He then sprayed some cologne on himself, "One Million" by Paco Rabanne.
The only thing left to do was for Connor to style his hair. He decided to go with the popular quiff.
Trying his best to stay calm, Connor headed to the kitchen to make some coffee. He served some to himself on his favorite mug and sat down on his counter.
Connor took out his phone, it displayed the time 6:15pm. He clicked on the phone icon and dialed the number of the restaurant he was attending for his date.
"Liberato Restaurant, how may I help you?" A female answered the phone. She sounded very nice.
"Hello, I will like to confirm a reservation."
"Name?"
"Connor Franta." The girl asked him to wait a few seconds while she searched up his reservation. His finger tapping the against the table.
"Sir...we don't have any reservations under your name."
Connor felt like he had just heard the worst news of his life. He had everything planned for the night and this just ruined everything.
"No, no, no. Please check again. I made reservations 2 weeks ago. For 7:30pm today." He was so close to screaming at her.
"Sir, everything is going to be okay. Can you please repeat your name again? Maybe I just spelled it wrong."
"Connor Franta. C-O-N-N-O-R." He was hoping that she was right. That she spelled his name wrong and he didn't mess everything up.
"Oh, I'm sorry sir. I seemed to have spell your name wrong." A sudden rush of relief hit Connor. "Your reservation is for 7:30pm. Hope to see you soon."
Connor thanked the lady and hanged up the phone. By now, his coffee was cold. He dumped the coffee down the sink and washed his mug.
He made sure his place was tidy, incase Troye wanted to come inside after their date. Everything was going just well. Now he just had to wait for Troye.
-
Connor was anxious and excited at the same time. This was his first 'proper' date with Troye. They have always hanged out before and they knew each other so well.
Ding-dong.
Connor went to open the door. He took a deep breath. His heart beat grew rapidly. He finally opened the door.
"Hi", said Troye with a smile growing on his face. He was wearing a burgundy sweater, black jeans, and black and white converse.
Connor felt so relaxed now. His heart calm down and he stopped shaking. It was like Troye just made everything... better.
"Hi", replied Connor. He was trying his best not to blush. Even though Troye wasn't doing a really good job at that either.
"You ready?"
For some reason, that make Connor really happy. Just thinking about going on a date with a boy and feeling so comfortable.
"Yeah."
Connor grabbed his car keys, locked his house, and the boys left. They didn't say anything the whole ride, just looked at each other. Both of them blushing and smiling.
The restaurant was about 15 minutes away from Connor's house. They arrived at 7:23pm.
They were taken to their seats by a waiter. The restaurant was kind of empty.
Their table was by the wall. They had more privacy there which they both loved.
Connor was looking at the menu, searching for something that caught his eyes. He looked up Troye and noticed that he was looking at him.
"What?" asked Connor with a smile growing across his face. He was blushing even harder.
Troye was holding his hands together, covering part of his mouth.
"Nothing". Connor could see a smirk on his face. "I just ... forget it".
"I'm not taking that for an answer. Why are you staring at me?".
Troye removed his hands from his mouth. He shook his head from left to right. "I just, really like you. You know what, let's get out of here."
"Are you serious? We just got here."
"Yeah." Troye but his lip. "Why don't we go back to your place and watch a movie?".
Connor agreed. He liked the thought of being alone, just them two.
-
Connor had set up Netflix on his tv.
They decided to watch a documentary called "Blackfish". It was the story of Tilikum, a captive killer whale that has taken the lives of several people.Connor had made popcorn. The lights were off, the only thing illuminating the place was the tv and the street lights.
Troye leaned over and rested his head on Connor's right shoulder. He took his right hand and held Connor's hand with it.
They watched the tv in that same position. Just enjoying the documentary and each other's company.
They were both happy. Happier than they would be at the restaurant.
They were happy to be with each other.
