Yuletide is also referred as the whole Christmas Season.It is the period of time around the Christmas. Other terms for the Christmas Season are Christmastime or Christmastide. Tide refers to an old term called "Season" or " Period" is the course of year or day.
Germanic people around the winter Solstice in December and January by the Christian celebrations of the Christmas and its sorrounding festivities.
This Yuletide is connected to the term Yule which is actually related to wild hunt ,the god,Odin and pagan.
Yuletide is also called as yulefest. It is observed by various Northern European or German peoples. Decorating ever green tree is a common celebrations in ancient time.Distribution of chocolates and gifts to the loved ones and keeping a faith that old year will be passed by getting a new year with hopes and happiness.People sing Carols.atheist oak log is usually decorated with boughs ,sprigs of holy,bare birch branches and trailing ivy vines.
They all celebrate this yuletide with family and friends with a great joy and happiness.
