Hey, little train! Wait for me!

I once was blind but now I see

Have you left a seat for me?

Is that such a stretch of the imagination?

Hey little train! Wait for me!

Professor McGonagall had stopped them before they left for Hogsmeade to catch the train. Surprisingly she wasn't mad, and quite impressed they managed to get the same pranks she had seen over forty years ago. Teddy had told most of his friend's goodbyes although they knew it was goodbye forever. The train was about to leave at exactly eleven in the morning, and he was sitting in their usual compartment.

Teddy, Victoire, Freddy, Kathleen, Molly, and Dominique. As the train began to move Teddy looked back once more at the school he was no longer a student of. He decided to think about Auror training to take his mind off all the sad sappy stuff.

"Where's Roxi?" Dominique asked as they talked about their camping plans during summer.

"Just saw her sitting with Maia Jordan," Victoire answered.

They had planned on going to the same spot as last year, Cornwall, during the first weekend of July.

"Can't do the first week, it's my little brother, Juniper's birthday," Kathleen said.

"How about the second weekend?"

"Works for me."

"Same."

Once they got to the station, Teddy had told Harry he would bring James home, so he side-along apparated with him to the Potters. Once he dropped him off, he went straight home. On top of the muggle street stood the Tonks house, his home. Amesbury is a small town near Salisbury, southern England. A two-story house, with a big yard in the front and back where Andromeda used to grow fruits. He spent his childhood running along the big lawn chasing butterflies and picking out flowers.

He knocked on the door, with his trunk in his other hand. He realized the door was unlocked and went inside.

"Gran?" he yelled from the doorstep.

"In the kitchen, sweetie," she called back. He dropped his trunk and went straight to the back of the house, where the kitchen was. Andromeda was on the island table drinking tea with her sister. He went over and kissed her cheek, as she attacked him with a bunch of questions. Did you eat? Want some tea? WIll you be staying this whole weekend? How'd your exams go?

After he finished greeting his granmum and Narcissa, he went to wash up and unpack his stuff. His room was much smaller than the one at the Potters, but he loved it, it used to be his mum's room. He still has some of the Weird Sisters posters that belonged to her. After a nice cool shower, he changed into a pair of light blue jeans, cuffed on the bottom, a Weird Sisters black tee, and he went back downstairs to join Andromeda and Narcissa.

"So how were your exams?" Narcissa asked as he sat down for a cuppa tea with them.

"Pretty easy, NEWT results come in July, and then I'll hopefully get the Auror Training acceptance letter," he explained.

"I was just telling Andy, Scorpius is turning eleven, they're keeping a party, on July 23, you ought to come."

Teddy considered this, he's only ever seen Scorpius a couple of times when he was a baby and a couple of times as a kid. It was a birthday invitation, how could he decline? "Of course, Cissy!" He had always called her Cissy as he picked it up from Andromeda, and she never really minded.
