"Hey Suzi, you ready?" Sam asked. Sam has been my best friend since 2nd grade. I used to move around a lot when I was little, and we stopped here in 2nd grade, I was really shy every time I moved but my first day Sam came up to me and said, "I'm Sam, your new best friend. "Yeah, where are you taking me?" I laughed. "Not so fast, hey babe," said Jake. Jake is my boyfriend, he is really cute and sweet, but he can be a little too full of himself. "Hey Jake, what's up? Sam and I made plans to hang out," I told him. Sometimes he won't even let me make my own plans especially when they are with Sam. "Yeah, um listen babe, I already made plans with Sam," I told him a second time because he wasn't listening. I look over at Sam who has a sad look on his face. "Oh so you don't love me?" he said dramatically. Every time make plans with someone and I tell him that he goes on about how I don't love him and I end up caving in. "No that's not it, the thing is I know you and Sam don't get along but will you at least try to be nice, and let me go with him? Please for me?" I pleaded. "Fine, but it will owe ya," he said smiling. "What?" I said suspiciously. "You have to come over and we can have an us night," Jake said. "Mmm sounds great," I said giving him a kiss. "Well I got to get to class I will see you at 8:30 Jake," I yelled. He nodded and saluted with two fingers and smiled. "Ugh I hate him " Sam whined. "Yeah I know you do," I sighed. "He isn't the best boyfriend either." "Then why don't you just break up with him?" Sam wondered. "It's hard to knowing him," I said. "Well tough nuggets, because...," he paused, "because Suzi I am in love with you!" he said loudly. I had a very surprised look on my face when he said that. "Sam," I said then he cut me off saying, " I know we are best friends and all but I am in love with you, do you believe in love at first sight?" he asked. I nodded, "that's what happened when I first saw you," preached Sam. "Sam I have tiny feelings for you to its just that Jake-" "yeah yeah Jake this Jake that," he cried, "just leave him!" Aw, he is so sweet. I saw Sam in the hall way so I ran up to give him a hug, but then Jake popped up and hugged me instead. "Hey," he said. "Hey," I said with a fake smile. "Excuse me but I have to go see Sam about something, I will catch you later," I said rushing away. He grabbed my shoulder and said," I think he is done with you." "What do you mean," I said. Then, he turned me around and I see Morgan Crisco, my female bestie kissing Sam my male bestie. "That doesn't matter we are just best friends," I fought. "Ok but don't come crying to me when he says he doesn't want you in his life," he said as he left. I rolled my eyes yet I was starting to believe him and I was getting worried. I turned to Sam and saw that Morgan was gone, so I walked to him and said, "what was that Romeo?" "I don't know she just came up and "go with it,"" said Sam. I knew it, it was all a fake plan, Morgan was always mad because she had a crush on Jake but I was dating him, I can't believe that one of my best friends would do that to me. I just walked away to go talk to Jake and tell him what Sam said, when I saw Jake flirting with another girl. Man everything that is happening to me today so far has been horrible. But hey at least I still have Sam as my best friend. We went on our smoothie say and talked forever. Then I got a text from Jake saying... what happened why didn't meet? I texted him back saying that I saw him flirting and all that, then I broke up with him. I felt so cool 😎. I left the smoothie place and Sam left with me, on the way out he grabbed my hand 🙊😊. Then, he walked me home, grabbed my shoulders and pulled me in, gave me a kiss on the cheek, pulled me even closer for a hug, and said, "I love you." For some reason I felt this tingle like 😊. Was I was falling for him?
