"Mom I'm going for a walk in the woods!"
"alright Amber be home by 5"
"OK"
I open the door and i run into the woods. I keep running heading toward my fav. spot. When i finally reach the river i follow it a mile down till i reach a cave covered by vines and i push them apart and walk in. I sit on the stone and i sigh.
"Man ive been so buisy i forgot how great this place is" i say to myself
I look around at all the decor i added. The flowers, wall paintings i drew, and a portable radio. I turn on the radio till i hear horses coming then i quickly turn it off and i listen. I look out though the vines and i see 5 men on horses heading right toward my house and i run after them. I loose sight of them but i keep running. I get tired and i stop trying to catch my breath when i hear my mom scream. I start to run again despite a sharp pain in my side.
When i reach the edge of the woods i see my mom getting pushed onto a horse. I get ready to run out and try and save her but she catches my eye and shakes her head. I get tears in my eyes as i see her herded away. I run to the house and i collapse on my bed and break down crying.
When i stop crying i start to pace my room
"ok that did not just happen. my mom did not just get taken away by the Kings men." i say to myself shaking my head still pacing
I continue to pace till i cant feel my legs and i sit down. After i make a sandwich and i finish eating it i finally decide to go after my mom. My dad died and i have no siblings so i have no one to turn to.
"Why would the king want my mom?" i ask myself "and i really have to stop talking to myself"
I run up to my room again and i start to pack some clothes, food, a comb, toothbrush and paste, money, blanket, and pillow. I stuff it all into my book bag and i get ready to leave.
"ok did i forget anything" i mutter everything i packed "nope i have everything"
I pick up my book bag and i walk outside.
"i cant believe I'm really doing this" i say as i walk east toward the Kings castle.

OK this is the first story i made on wattpad and that doesnt involve animals i hope u liked it! =)
