Who knew you had a best friend that was an underground rapper and his name was Kim Hongjoong.
You've known him for about 3 years now and you only found out today he was an underground rapper.
"Hongjoong, I still can't believe you never told me about this." You said to hongjoong as you looked around seeing other rappers preparing to go against other rappers.
"I'm sorry but I wasn't ready to tell you, I just didn't know how to tell you" hongjoong replied nervously rubbing his hands.
"Even though I've never heard you before I know you'll blow everyone away" you said grabbing his hand and interlocking them, you saw Hongjoong blush but thought nothing of it as you thought his nerves were getting to him.
You quickly found a seat and smiled at Hongjoong as he sat down next to you and watched some of the rappers performing.
'Hongjoong, you are up next '' you heard the guy say as he came over to talk to Hongjoong.
You grabbed his hand and smiled at him.
"You'll do great" you said and handed him your lucky ring that you always wear but you thought that he should have it for today. You saw his shocked face but then it turned into a small smile. He quickly put it on and grabbed the mic off the guy who was standing next to the stairs.
He got onto the stage and you looked to your left and saw his opponent and you jaw dropped, it was none other than his best friend Song Mingi. He looked over at you and smiled while you waved to him.
You looked back over to Hongjoong to see him giving Mingi the evil eye and you shook your head thinking the impossible that he maybe likes you. You've had a crush on Hongjoong since the day you met him which was about nearly 2 years ago.
"Alright everyone here we have the infamous Hongjoong and Mingi give them a round of applause" the announcer said to everyone in the room and we all did.
"Alright boys, who is going first?" the announcer asked and they both pointed at each other making everyone laugh.
"Alright then everyone in the crowd, who should go first?" the announcer asked and everyone was screaming for Mingi and some for Hongjoong, of course you screamed out Hongjoong's name making him smile. It was finally decided that Mingi would go first.
Mingi was rapping his part in "say my name" and then hongjoong rapped his part in "say my name". You couldn't help but be shocked by their rapping abilities. You made your heart flutter every time Hongjoong rapped. You couldn't help but just blush and smile at him.
They finally finished their rap battle and everyone was chanting both Hongjoong and Mingi's name. You couldn't help but chant Hongjoong's name while smiling,
