"This is the least revealing thing you have?" Clary asked Isabelle.
"What? All the naughty bits are covered, a little too much in my opinion."
I looked at them from my laying position in Isabelle's bed. It was so comfy.
"I would literally kill to have your confidence to wear what I want,Isabelle, you're so lucky." I tell her while smiling and she smiles back.
"Where's Simon?" Clary questions clearly uncomfortable.
"Who?" Isabelle jokes."Kidding, he's in good hands with the boys." She sits near me. Clary leans onto a column.
"I doubt that, the boys didn't seem to like him very much." I whispered.
" So um, you, Alec and Jace are... what like a family?" Clary wonders.
"Translation." I start.
"You want to know if Jace and I are a thing." Isabelle finishes.
I look at her."You and I are going to be great friends"I grinned.
She grinned too" Call me Izzy"
"Why would I care?" She defends ignoring our conversation.
"Because you do." Izzy responds simply."Don't worry. In every way, he's like my brother. Our parents took Jace in when he was ten. We trained together. Learned to fight side by side. And"She turns to look at me." My brother's single." She winks and I scoff.
"A few days ago, all I had to worry was about was getting into arts school. And now..." Clary sighs.
"Is this the part where I give you the pep talk about harnessing your inner Shadowhunter and accepting your true destiny?" I laughed I mean what was that?.
"Was that the pep talk?"
"Basically "She smiles."Clary , remember you were born to do this. No matter what has happened cause this is who you are." She says more seriously.
"Not exactly feeling that."
"Yet." Me and Izzy say at the same time.
"Okay but now we just have to find Dot." Clary reminds us.
"And track down and kill the most dangerous rogue Shadowhunter in all history before he kills us all." She says ruining the mood.
"You really knows how to ruin a pep talk, don't you?."
"She sure does." I snicker.
"Come on let's go." She turns to walk trough the door but stops." Oh and Simon's kind of nerd hot." She chuckles.
"Oh, come on Izzy." I groan

"Do you know how to kill a demon?" I hear Clary asking Simon. I called them the twins because if you saw one of them the other wasn't that far away. Simon hated that name because of his feelings for Clary.
"I'm an internet search away."
"Simon I don't think it's that simple." Clary tries to knock some sense into him.
"I bet you it's not that hard."
"It's not that easy Simon,"I rest my hand on his shoulder, "take my word."
Then Izzy opens what seemed to be a closet with weapons that emerged from the wall. We all stare in wonder.
Izzy touches one of the blade's but Jace who just entered the room slaps it away.
"No, Izzy."
"Fifty bucks, says he doesn't approuve this mission." Izzy touches again the blade.
I don't have time to ask who as Alec enters the room.
"I don't approuve this mission." I chuckle silently." I spoke with the Clave, they're sending Seelie scouts to search for Valentine. But they made it clear, the little girl doesn't leave the premises."
"Hey, my name's not "little girl", okay?. I don't care what that Clave thing or you want. I'm going to find Dot."
"Alec, this warlock could have the answers we need with Valentine's people out there searching for Clary. She's not safe outside alone." Jace says.
I want to protest and tell them that she won't be alone but I need them to come too as I don't know much about this world.
"Jace has a point." Izzy tells her brother.
"Et tu, Izzy?" He looks at Clary." All right, since you have all the answers, where do you suggest we search?"
"We should start at Dot's apartment in Greenpoint, and there's this thrift store that she..." Clary gasps as she touches her purple necklace who stasts to glow.
"Let me" I speak as I feel my eyes shift to a crimson color while I enter her mind. I see Dot running to the Pandemonium in a hurry.
"What's wrong? What is it?" Jace asks me and Clary.
"I, uh" Starts Clary." Weirdly, I know where Dot is."
"Weirdly, you do." I exhale.
"Great, I'll drive." We all stare at Simon.
"What? Unless you have, like, a Shadowhunter-mobile or something. " He looks at the floor then at Jace with wide eyes.
"You were kidding about the runes on the floor killing me... right?"
"Possibly." And we all walk away.
"Wait am I gonna die?"
