Zion walked on an invisible path as his breaths came out harshly, the two guards trailing slightly behind him. He allowed his eyes to scan over his surrounding area and so far he seemed to be in content from what he saw. The soldiers glanced subtly to one another as they all came closer to the front wall and the blonde man seemed to sense their hesitation, "Has there been any movement outside the wall?" He asked, voice coming out muffled due to the mask.
The elder of the two brothers cleared their throat, "One of the men spotted someone." Zion's feet came to a halt and he spun around, causing the guards to stop. "When?" He asked as his eyes narrowed, the two men straightened their backs. The younger of the three stepped back slightly and allowed his elder to speak for them, he had more experience with these things. "A week or t-two." A hand shot up and grasped the leather covering the spoken mans face.
Fingers tightened their hold and it was getting a bit harder for the soldier to keep his cool. "You." Zion growled, "Tell me the truth or he dies." The man shivered in fear as his eyes flickered between his partner and boss, "A month or two ago." Zion grunted in fury and pushed the one he was holding back, making his head fly back. "Why was I not informed of this?!" He shouted and glared at his two employees, "Are you sure it was only one person?"
The guards nodded, "It was a man, tall, short brown hair and green eyes." Zion hummed and turned around, letting his eyes wander over the wall, "He was alone, stayed for a minute at most and then left." The president rolled back his shoulder, trying to let out some tension built up from this conversation.
"Alright." Zion nodded to himself and the soldiers stiffened when his tone of voice changed. "Double the guards. I'm expecting two people in I assume a few days, his name is Ryan Solmen. Someone will be accompanying him, haven't been notified of their name but allow them in. You see anyone else, you kill them."

Terra and Ally stared the two males down and a few seconds later Sylvester finally spoke, not being able to take their intense eyes. "It was thirty two or thirty three years ago when a sickness was brought into the world. No one knew for sure how it was born but we all knew for certain that it was deadly."
Conner looked down at his father, he was never told this when he was younger and now was intrigued. "In only a year millions of people died, all over the world. This virus or whatever it was, targeted the bodily organs, its whole purpose was to infect them. Let them wither away and in turn the host themselves die as well." Terra made eye contact with Conner and they both seemed to have the same idea to where this story was going.
"The scientists and governments couldn't seem to grasp the enemy's reins as it kept on spreading at an incredible rate. People were panicking and no one knowing anything just heightened their fear, the authorities took in all the rising stars in hope for a new look, a course to take. Nothing worked. A couple of years passed and the population had been depleted but it was still enough to continue the feeding. People continued to die and children kept being born, that only made things worse as some were born with the illness. "
Ally stood up straight as a random thought came into her head, her face turning to disgust and fear. Sylvester cleared his throat and slowly started rubbing his palms together, anxiety building inside him. "They came up with a solution..." His voice trailed off, "What was it?" Terra asked.
Sylvester couldn't bring himself to say it, the past haunting him. "I uh..." He struggled to let out his voice and Terra stood up fast, kicking her chair back in the process making it slam into the wall. The loud interruption made everyone jump but it also made the nearly blind man blurt out the words caught in his teeth, "They dropped bombs on everyone!"
An eerie silence fell on the room as the news was exposed. "How did you live?" Conner's question caused Sylvester to stand and face him, "Conner." He tried to step closer but a hand stopped him, "No dad, no more lies." Green eyes stared at their father with disappointment. Sylvester bowed his head, "I was informed of the plan and your mother and I moved underground."
Ally spoke for the first time, "You were informed? How were you informed?" Terra glared at the older man waiting for his answer but he never let a peep escape him, "Just like how my dad was. Just like how the scientists here were, the president told them." Conner clenched his jaw and shook his head in disgust, "I can't believe that you had a part in something so inhumane."
"All our parents were involved in it somehow, we are alive after all." Ally commented. Terra hummed, deep in thought, something wasn't making sense. Conner and Sylvester stared at each other, neither knowing the right words to remove their awkwardness. "Something doesn't add up." The raven haired girl mumbled, "If you were alive after the explosions you would have been able to develop some type of..." She didn't end her sentence out loud and instead she let out a loud gasp.
That was it, she found the missing piece. Ally tapped her shoulder, confused and concerned at the look on the others face, "Terra?" She pushed her body softly, trying to shake her out of her head. "It makes sense." Terra assured herself, turning to Ally, "But if that was it then why wasn't it given before the bombs?" She mumbled looking away again, arguing inside her head.
Everyone was watching her now, Sylvester slightly shaking from nerves but the other two in curiosity. "It wasn't working." She whispered and a smile came over her face, "The cure! They made a cure before but it wasn't working, the other substance, it makes sense. They needed Algorosetic Chloride for the cure. It was a win win situation, keep a few couples expecting and erase the others. Eradicate the virus and at the same time make a cure."
Terra breathed, "That's how only we have abilities, they gave us all the liquid." Sylvester nodded his head, indicating that what she had said was all true, but Ally couldn't understand one thing. "If that was the case, how are you the only one dying?"
