Light-stepper watched the stars go by while their favourite hunting reserve got smaller and smaller.
It will be a while untill they reached Yautja Prime. It was a 2 week journey and he knew Ra'kar would get more anxious with Alari by the day.
Now knowing she was born prematurely the father was more alert and protective.
Light-stepper couldn't be more proud of him, he was surprised that the little pup survived this long with out medical care.
She was a survivor, a fighter, a true Yautja in the making.

Oh she was perfect for his family's legacy!

He was picturing her standing amoung her adopted clan with their lighting mark burnt within her forehead as she passed her right of passage.
His clan made the mistake of loosing the Ooman female but he will make sure that it won't happen again.

"Thinking about the future father?"

Light-stepper looked over his shoulder seeing his son looking at him from the medical bed.
"Shouldn't you be resting?"
The pair shared a chuckle with each other but all became awkwardly silent for some reason.
"Is there something on your mind, Ra'kar?"

Ra'kar didn't meet his father's gaze, he looked at Alari who slept soundly in the incubator.
"Yes...I was thinking about Alari's future with our clan. I-"

"I know what you're going to say son."

"You do??"

"Your worried how she will be treated since what happened with 'little knife' but I'll make sure she is treated as an equal."

Ra'kar shifted a little with uncertainty, he looked at his father and tried to speak but all of a sudden Light-stepper hurried out of the room.
He followed two Yautja guards that were armored up from head to foot as they kept their lazer beams on Scarface.
They led him to a prison cell, they locked the doors and stood guard of the Exile.

"Let him out immediately."

Scarface blinked as he lifted his head up from the darkness of the ship's prison cell to see the clan leader standing before two guards.
"Leader Light-stepper, we can not. we have been given orders to contain him."

"That Exile had no wrong during my family affairs and hunt. He was taken off planet Torror by the enemy, he was chased and over all he protected my adopted granddaughter. Dosen't he deserve to be treated as a friend than the enemy themself."

The elite guards looked at each other for a moment and nodded slightly to agreement.
One of the guards looked at Light-stepper while slightly shaking his head.
"Clan leader, he wants to be contained."

Light-stepper was stunned from that comment, he looked into the cell through the window and noticed Scarface was looking at him with guilt.

"He wants to be a prisoner?"

"Indeed Clan leader, we honour for what he did but it's his choice to be contained until we reach the mothership. He wants his clan to take him back to exile."

Now it all made sense, Scarface was still haunted by the sins of his past. He was proud of Scarface for wanting to reedeem his ways and bring back honour to his clan but after what happened recently...he needs a break.

"Let him out, he will be under my watch."

Scarface growled when he heard that, he didn't feel like he deserved any hospitality.
But Light-stepper had more authority and no hunter couldn't argue with him.
Scarface stepped out while clicking his manibles with frustration while the guards walked off.
"Well at least we can serve the huntress for a while."
Light-stepper over heard the guards, he hurried over with interest.
"What huntress?"
