"Thanks Dad. Please let me know more about her when you can....alright love you too, bye."

Why did this have to happen? Why her and why now?

Ochako Uraraka just got off the phone with her dad. Her mother was caught in a villain attack while at work. Someone with a brick manipulation quirk was taking apart the building her mother was in to use as weapons to fight some pro heroes. She was on the 5th floor of a 15 story building when she started falling due to it coming apart.

Ochako's mom had a weak gravity quirk. She could take away the gravity of small items but if she overused it she'd get headaches and also become nauseous. She tried to move some of the things falling while she was also close to it herself but she couldn't really focus on everything at once.

After the villain with the brick quirk was taken down and arrested, that's when the rescuing had started. They found her bleeding from her head with multiple wounds on her arms. A desk was crushing her legs and she wasn't breathing very well since she was kinda buried under a lot of debris. After getting her out they took her to the nearest hospital where they contacted her Husband/Ochako's dad.

That leaves us where we left off. The doctors say that her mom is in serious condition because of the blow to the head and they don't know if she'll make it. Right now, Ochako is in her dorm room crying, worried about her mothers health.

-Ochako's POV-

*knock knock*
"Uraraka? uh it's me. Uh I-I mean it's Deku. I realized you didn't come down for dinner and brought you a bowl of the katsudon that was made."

Oh gosh. It's Deku. No he can't see me like this. I can't let him worry about me.

*sniff* "Oh Deku. Thanks! Sorry about missing dinner I just got caught up on some things. You can leave the bowl outside the door and I'll get it in just a sec."

Oh no. My voice was shaky and it cracked a few times, well maybe he didn't notice that?

"Uraraka, are you alright? You sound like you're crying. Are you hurt? Do you need to see Recovery Girl? Is there a villain in there?"

Dang It he did notice. No. I don't want him to know. I can't let my crush see me in such a mess.

"Yeah I'm fine. I swear it! Just leave the food outside the door please!"

"Um, ok yeah sure. I'll do that."

Oh good. Now I can just eat and wait for my dad to update me on mom's condition.

-Third POV-

Ochako goes to open the door to get the food but when she looked up she definitely didn't see food. She saw bright red shoes connected to legs that had blue basketball shorts on and a body with a plain white shirt. When she looks all the way up, there is Izuku Midoriya or as she calls him, Deku, standing in front of her with a worried yet firm expression on his face. In his hands is the bowl of food.

"I knew it, you are upset. What's wrong? I'm sorry for not leaving when you asked but I knew I couldn't just leave a friend alone like that knowing there's something wrong. Please let me know what's wrong so I can help."

Ochako couldn't be mad. She knows that Deku is the best future hero and he would help anyone in a heartbeat. Suddenly all the sadness she tried to hide built even more. She couldn't keep it in any longer.

*sniff* "Im sorry Deku. I just didn't want anyone to see me like this. I...I'll tell you because honestly I don't think I can hold it in anymore but not out here in the open."

With that said, she led him inside her room where she explained what happened to her mom and how worried she is, not wanting to lose someone she loves so much. She broke down through her explanation but Deku just listened and comforted her. He even, though hesitantly, wrapped his arms around her in a hug, blushing lightly. He knew she needed the hug, even if it did mean that she got insanely close.

Ochako couldn't even find it in herself to be flustered that her crush was holding her in such a way. She just felt happy and grateful she had someone to help her through the emotional pain she was going through and decided she'd freak out about this some other time.

After calming down, she thanked him for helping her and apologized for trying to hide herself. He told her she didn't need to apologize and that if she ever felt sad or if something bad were to happen, he'd help her right away, because that's what a friend and hero does. She smiled at him and he smiled back, happy to see that he helped her feel better a little bit.

*ring ring*

"Hello...? You have more news...? Oh my goodness! I'm so relieved! I'll try asking Mr. Aizawa if I can leave campus for a little while so I can visit her....yeah, ok. Thanks dad. Bye."

Ochako turns to Deku and wraps him in a tight hug, crying tears of joy.

"Dad said that mom will make it! She'll be in bedrest while she recovers, but she will be ok. Oh Deku, I'm so happy!"

Izuku, after calming down from the sudden hug, wraps his arms around her and smiles, happy that his friend/crush's mom will be ok.

Yeahhhhh....I suck at stories but my creative writing teacher is having us right an assignment where a character quote on quote "hears that a loved one has been through a terrible accident and is near death and is waiting by the phone for more word"

I tried my best please give me feedback on how it was and how I can improve!
