𝐬𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐲

Hestia Springs happens to think that fire is always the solution, though she may be a bit biased. She is the flame and the spark and her flames can transform dizzying patterns of wood into the most transient of beauties, hot ribbons of light, and they can burn golden enough to ignite the night and outshine the stars. There are times when fire is the solution, the bringer of beauty. She also happens to know that the flames that consumed her island in a flurry of explosions demanded everything become ashes, and the destruction a terrible joy in the heart of the one responsible for the lost lives of her people.

Jaylin Yukioko knows that what she's doing is wrong. Guilt is the dance partner of greed doing the damn cha-cha-slide across her hardened heart and mind. Shame wreaks havoc on her conscience, but not enough. Her father and her life are her priority, and her feelings for a strange girl with superpowers will not stop her from getting back her world the way it was. A girl with a knack for stepping on her nerves in all the right ways will not stop her from getting back to a time at which she is at her most formidable.
