"But dad, what if i'm in Slytherin?"asked young Albus Severus Potter.
"Albus, I named you after two great headmasters of Hogwarts. One of them was a Slytherin and he is probably the bravest man I know." Replied his father, Harry.
"Ok."Albus mumbled as he waved goodbye to his parents and little sister.
James Sirius, his brother, jumped on quickly and ran to the carriage with his friends in it. Rose Weasley held Albus' hand as they hopped onto the hooting train...
A few minutes of stumbling around later, Rose and Albus had found an empty carriage in which to sit together. Rose reached into her mother's beaded bag and pulled out a book, it was a muggle book but her favourite. "The Hunger Games" read the cover, "Is-is that book, good?" asked Albus quietly. Rose was motionless, deep, deep in the book. Suddenly she looked up. "What was that?" she asked.
"Nevermind." Said Albus as he slumped in his seat.
KNOCK, KNOCK, KNOCK. There was someone at the carriage door.
"Hello?" Asked a weary voice from outside the carriage.
Rose hadn't noticed, she was to deep in her book.
"Who's there?" asked Albus, trembling.
A young boy stepped out of the shadow. "I was just wondering if I could sit with you, everywhere else is full" the boy stated, nervously.
"Ok then" replied Albus, straining to see the boy's full face.
The boy slouched down next to Albus. "So, erm, what your name-s" he murmered
"I'm Albus and that's Rose" he explained, pointing at Rose when he mentioned her.
"Albus? Albus Potter?" the boy asked, surprised.
"Yup." Albus replied, "Anything wrong with that?"
"Erm, no, I just. Nothing." The still mysterious boy stated.
"And your name?"Asked Albus.
"Erm, I'm Scorpius, Scorpius Malfoy" At the moment of saying that last word, glints of shame appeared in Scorpius' eyes.
Albus moved back slightly, Rose still deep in the book.
"Well, you don't seem like your family. Or are you just ready to pounce?" Albus questioned.
"No, No. I hate my family name. And my name. Scorpius, what a horrible thing to name a kid." Stated Scorpius, honestly.
"Ok, I trust you." Albus said" So do you play Quidditch?"
The two boys talked about Quidditch for almost the whole journey making Rose have to remind them when to get into their robes
..."ALL FIRST YEARS OVER HERE! OVER HERE!" boomed the voice of a half-giant. Hagrid.
"Woah" all of the first years whispered in unison as they jumped of the train.
"C'mon then, you lot." Hagrid told them.
The group wandered along the path to the boats. Stopping to gaze at something wonderful every minute. Hagrid put them into groups of three each to take a boat, he had one for himself being that big.
The wizarding children splashed about, slowy getting closer to the huge castle.
"Aww, its just castle ruins, what a joke!" Shouted a boy from the back.
"Only muggles see it as a ruin, great magic it is. Wait..." Hagrid's voice trembled. "ONLY muggles see it as a ruin."
The boy jumped, "M-my friend got a letter. I was sure I could come too." He stated, nervous.
