Addison woke up to the sun shining through the blinds, landing on her face like it was a spotlight.

She was naked in Noah's bed, body strewn over the edge and laying on her stomach. She'd just slept for hours but woke up exhausted.

Probably from spending the day in the sun. Amongst other things, she thought to herself. She smiled and turned so her face was in the pillow, her body buzzing with excitement.

She still couldn't believe the events from the night before. Noah's lips on her body, his hands touching her all over, his...well.

It had never felt like that before. Never felt like that with James.

She wasn't sure what the difference was. They were both physically fit, conventionally attractive men. She pondered whether it was how strongly she felt for Noah.

She thought she had loved James, but now she thought she had just been manipulated into feeling that way.

She felt Noah begin to wake up. He was laying across the bed diagonally, his head on her butt as if it was a pillow, his arm wrapped around her hip cuddling it.

They were still on top of the duvet although it was rumpled and needed to be laundered now. Noah had grabbed an extra blanket and covered them last night, not wanting to wake Addison up and guide her underneath the bedspread.

Noah sat up and wiped his eyes. He was exhausted as well but in the best way.

Addison rolled over when he sat up, exposing her naked body to him.

He smiled and dipped his head to kiss her, leaving a trail. First her breast, the skin soft against his lips. Then her shoulder, his teeth nipping her there. She shivered. Her neck and then his lips grazing the skin up to her jaw. Her lips.

She moaned against his mouth and raised her arms to loop around his neck, pulling him closer. He deepened the kiss and grabbed her waist, melding their bodies together.

Addison took his bottom lip between her teeth and gently pulled. Noah groaned and dipped his hand low, between her legs.

"So wet." He said, his voice husky. She nodded into their kiss as his fingers teased her.

Noah's phone rang in the bathroom, jolting them out of their trance, lost in each other. Addison didn't know who was more annoyed by the interruption. Noah pecked her once more on the lips and pushed himself off the bed to go get his call.

Addison could tell it was going to be a long call when she heard Noah answer it. He immediately sounded annoyed and gave her an apologetic look from the doorway.

She smiled at him and stood to get dressed. She walked past him to grab one of his shirts and pulled it over her head.

She headed out to the kitchen to make them coffee and breakfast and give Noah space for his work call.

Addison had just added cream to her coffee when she felt Noah's arms wrap around her waist.

She smiled and turned in his arms, reaching up to smooth her hands over the sides of his neck. He closed his eyes, enjoying the feel of her touch. He lowered to touch his forehead to hers.

"We should probably talk about last night." He said softly.

She nodded.

"Addison," he started, pulling away from her so he could look into her bright eyes, "that first night we met, I was mesmerized by you." Her heart swelled, he had felt the same connection she did that night. "But James swooped in and I let him, and when I met Megan I thought I was happy with her." Addison understood, she felt the same way about her relationship with James. "But these last few weeks with you have made me realize that I never stopped having that connection with you and that I've had feelings for you since that night."

Addison smiled, "I feel the same way, Noah." He looked visibly relieved. "It's like I've known all along that I was supposed to be with you, but I was loyal to James. It wasn't until after I left him that I realized how much of myself I had given up for him, and how unhappy I truly was. These last few weeks with you have shown me that you've always been there. Silently there for me, and when I needed you, you caught me." She put a hand on his cheek. "I was just afraid to accept my feelings for you because I was afraid of getting hurt again."

They each were afraid to truly tell the other how they felt. That they loved one another. Not because they weren't sure of their feelings, but because they didn't know if their love was reciprocated, and they didn't want to come off too strong.

Noah felt like a weight had been lifted off his chest. He tightened his grip on her and kissed her, happy that after four years he finally got the girl.

"I'm sorry I didn't fight harder for you that first night." He said when he broke the kiss.

"I'm sorry I didn't make you." She said smirking at him.

She finished making their breakfast and they ate in happy silence.

As Noah gathered the dishes to wash them in the sink he said over his shoulder, "Let's go shopping today."

He heard Addison laugh. "For what?"

He shrugged. "For anything. You've been wearing and washing the same few outfits the entire time you've lived with me because we haven't gotten all your things from James' house yet. Let's get you a few more outfits." And then, before she could protest. "I'm paying, Addison."

She opened her mouth to protest but decided against it. She needed to get better at accepting gifts. She'd always worked hard for everything she had, and even with James, she felt awkward receiving gifts from him. But the more she thought about it, the more she realized that he used gifts as a manipulation tactic whereas Noah seemed to do it because he truly cared.

She agreed and Noah chuckled to himself. He'd never had to force a girl he dated into letting him take them on a shopping spree in New York City. But Addison wasn't like any other girl he had dated.

Hi Everyone!

I want to first thank each and every one of you for taking the time to read this story!

I figured I would share a bit about me! My name is Samantha and I am 25. I've loved reading since I was old enough to do so and I've loved writing since I was 9!

I've enjoyed publishing at the pace I've done so this week, usually publishing multiple chapters a night. Although this will be the only chapter I post today, I will be updating throughout the weekend!

I have a large workload and am planning my wedding for later this year, but I still find myself staying up well past midnight working on this story to be able to provide you guys with more chapters! It's easy to stay motivated with readers as engaged as you.

Thank you all and have a great night!
