Chapter 7

A A R O N

A fog suddenly appeared when the dragon disappeared that alerted us. I use my absolute senses, surprisingly it works unlike before. I concentrate and feel my surroundings.

I can still feel the dragon's strong aura but unfortunately despite using my absolute senses the only thing that I can’t use clearly is the sense of sights. There’s something about the fog that makes us hard to see within it, I tried to use Air magi to suck the fog but there are no changes.

“Where is it!? Faye are you alright?” Snow shouted then followed by my friends. “Aaron! Try to use Air magi” Dhex said and I was about to try to use magi again when we heard a snap then the fog disappeared. When we look around to find Faye we saw a child hugging her.

“Faye? Are you alright? Did the dragon harms you?” Anne asks in a concerned voice. Making me stare at her. I admit she’s too pretty. I hold my chest when I suddenly feel my heart racing fast. I don’t know how many minutes I was in a daze when I felt a tap on my shoulder. ‘ Hey, my cousin might melt’ Dhex said through the link with a teasing smile on his face. I fake a cough then deny his teases.

“She’s too cute” I hear Tyra and Snow’s voices followed by small squeals. When I look at what’s happening I was a bit confused because I lost track of time while staring at An-  ‘No stop it Aaron’  Am I beginning to become crazy like Volt and Tyron? That can’t be let’s calm down maybe my senses just palpitate making my heart race. Yes, that’s it.

D H E X T E R

When the fog disappeared we saw Faye standing with a child hugging her. My friends ask her if she’s hurt fortunately nothing happens aside from the sudden appearance of a child.

“ Ahm Faye? Who’s that child?” Joy asks.

“She’s the dragon.” Faye casually replied while caressing the child’s head.

We’re shocked by what we heard because there are very few species of dragons that can transform into human form and from the book, we’ve read they are either almost exist or they are part of the remaining royal clan of the Drakon Clan.

I quietly observe the child together with Aaron who’s probably fantasizing about my cousin earlier and Pierre while the others head closer to Faye and the child- rather the dragon in child form position.

The child has a golden eye and long platinum red hair below the knees and about a height of a 5 years old child.

“What’s your name?” Anne sweetly asks the child. The little girl turns her head to Anne and stares at her for a while. They are anticipating her answer when the child turns her head back to Faye and hugged her tighter. Faye chuckled slightly and I notice how Pierre stare at her.

How suspicious he’s not like that especially if it’s a newcomer unless – I smirk at the thought then focus again on the child’s answer.

“She must be shy,” Faye said while cuddling the child “ She’s Latianezyessia, Latin for short” Faye said while convincing the child- I mean Latin to greet my friends back.

“Den thélo. Fovámai, ta Latiniká théloun na meínoun mazí sou.”  Latin said while shaking her head and tightened her hug to Faye. (I don't want to. I'm scared, Latin wants to stay with you.)

“Den tha se vlápsoun, Latiniká. Eínai fíloi mou, entáxei?” Faye said. (They won't hurt you, Latin. They're my friends, okay?) Latin think for a while and turn around to face us. I think she agreed.

“Eímai Latinikós, chaíromai pou se gnorízo.” Latin said while staring at us. Latin, they can’t understand your language you must speak in our language for them to understand you.”

I saw Latin nod her head slightly “I'm Latin, it's nice to meet you.” The girl slightly screams and I know the reason. Who wouldn't scream if you hear a very cute voice from a cute creatur- child.

My friends started to introduce themselves, when we’re almost done and it’s Piere’s turn we were about to introduce him because we know that he’s not going to introduce himself as always.

Before we can say his name, Latin screamed excitedly “ Papa! Papa!” she shouted while tugging Faye’s cloth and pointing to Pierre. Faye shakes her head that makes Latin cry loudly and the cave we’re in shakes making some rocks fall “Latin, he’s not Papa.” Faye said while calming Latin.

Faye was about to say another word when Pierre came closer to them and lifted Latin. Faye was shocked at first but ended up sighing.

“Hey kiddo,” Pierre said while his eyes are fixed to Latin but his movements are so obvious. He’s trying to be closer to Faye. When Faye steps aside Pierre will also step closer to her. “What’s your problem, Ac-“

“Mama and Papa are with Latin now!” Latin happily screamed. The cave that was shaking earlier, stopped shaking and we were shocked when the surroundings are slowly changing into a big room with dining in the middle.

But what shocked us more is when Latin hold the back of Faye and Pierre’s heads while they were facing each other. Then the next thing we saw is Faye and Pierre’s lips met.
