Chapter 7

With that I left and sat in the car for a bit. I actually didn't leave the parking lot for a while I was too busy reading over these papers. When I did finally leave I went home to pick up Lilyanna. When I went inside I took my shoes off and put the keys onto the kitchen counter. I took my hair down from the bun and shook it out.

My mom wasn't in the living room or anything so I figured she was either in the basement or upstairs. I grabbed some grapes from the refrigerator because I love grapes and with the bowl in one hand I walked upstairs into my moms room. Her and Lilyanna both were laying in the bed watching tv. I flopped onto the bed with my mom and Lilyanna.

" mom guess what ".I said

"What ?". She asked

"What ?". Lilyanna said in baby talk

" I got some papers to fill out and then the interview afterwards and I may just so have me a job ". I said as I did a little dance

" that's so great. I cannot wait for you to have a job ... You will feel the real definition of being a mother then ". Mom said

" yeah maybe so, but even Wayne has a job too now so we will really be making money ". I said

" that's really great to hear honey but you know what's going to happen with you and Wayne when you both are working and really don't see each other as much ?". Mom asked

" I asked him about that too because I was really worried about that myself but we worked it out we will suffice ". I said

" that's my baby ". Mom said

" thanks mom ". I laughed

" I been wanting to tell you guys how much I really love you guys relationship ". Mom said

" thanks but why so ? I feel like we do what every couple does ". I said

" you and Drake weren't like that ". Mom said

" oh no mom please don't mention drake ". I said

As soon as she brung up drake I just thought of the day. Like how can you FORCE someone into marriage ? Especially when it's not wanted like that makes no sense what so ever.

" what's happening with you and Drake ?". Mom asked

"Long story ". I sighed

" like I told you before I'm all ears so if you feel like saying it I'm right here ". She said

" okay well so like I'm just doing my everyday thing, and just chilling with Lilyanna and then I get this completely random message from Drake ". I started

" uh huh , continue ". Mom said

" ... And he is all like come over we need to talk so I go over there and his parents just start asking when did me and him come up with this decision ". I continue

" uh huh ". Mom says

" ... So I'm all like " what decision ?" And they are talking about marriage and all of that and I'm like no wait a minute you guys got it all wrong me and Drake are not Marrying we have broken up already ". I continue

" wait they thought you two are getting married ? I even knew you two were broken up ". Mom said confused

"Exactly mom ! ... So then Drake pulls me to the side and is like my parent don't know we are broken up and I told them we are getting married and that's it that's how it's going to happen ". I said
