You had gotten off of the boat and stretched your legs and arms, yawning and aching from the long ride to the country known as Iceland. Stepping forward, you looked around at your sorroundings. Green grass swayed in the soft breeze that pushed around the jagged rocks of the coast line, the waves splashing up against the dirt. Seabirds sang and flew around the water, looking for fish.
"It's so beautiful," you whispered in awe, gazing around with your mouth gaped open at the marvelous scenery before you.
"You really like it?"
Gasping at the sudden noise, you turned your head to see a platnium blonde male standing before you, a puffin atop his head. He wasn't bad looking, his silver bangs sweeping in front of his violet eyes, that were shining despite of the clouds moving in overhead. His hands were in the pockets of his brown pants, and he was wearing a matching brown coat with a white undershirt and a white tie around the collar.
Needless to say, you instantly dubbed him as the most beautiful person you have ever layed your eyes on.
Breaking the thoughts of your whirling brain, the man waved his gloved hand in front of your face, snapping you up in attention.
"Wha-What?" you stammered in surprise.
"Are you okay? You were spacing out there..." he replied with a slight chuckle, his mouth remaining in a strait position.
As you realised you were staring at him, you nodded shakily, "Sorry, I kind of dosed off there for a second..." You began to scratch the back of your neck when you shivered as a gust of wind flew into the side of your face, throwing your (h/c) hair to the side. You grasped your arms and ducked from the cold.
The man held out his hand to you, saying, "Follow me, I'll to you to my house. It's much warmer there than here."
Nodding meekly, still a bit embarrased, you took his hand and let him lead you to his house.
(TIME SKIP)
Handing you a mug of hot chocolate, he sat down next to you, putting out his hands to feel the radiation of the fire. "So your name is __________?"
"Yes, it's quite a common name from where I'm from," you sighed, taking a sip of the warm beverage in your hands. A blanket was wrapped around your shoulders, so you had warmth from three sources. Thanks to the man who requested you call Emil.
"It's a very pretty name," he said, a small grin tugging at the corners of his lips.
Blushing, you looked at the froth forming at the top of your drink. "Th-Thanks for letting me stay here, Emil."
He looked at you, noticing your blush, and aquired a pink-ish tint himself. "No problem, you can sleep in the guest room until the storm passess and you can buy a hotel room..."
Upon hearing this, you looked up at the blonde. You almost didn't want to leave, for you had grown to liking him already. He made good cocoa, he had a cute personality, was very polite, and had a house that smelled like licorice.
"Um... Emil..." you started.
He looked at you, hands resting on his thighs as he made eye contact with your (e/c) orbs.
"Is it alright if I stay here... until I have to leave back home?"
Blushing even more, he nodded slightly. "Yes, my home is your home."
When these smooth words entered your ears, you smiled and rested your head on his shoulder. "Thanks, Emil~!"
"Call me Iceland. Emil is just my human name."
