This isn't a Willex oneshot (sorry) but it is a Julie and Alex one because I love fics about their friendship🥺 with mentions of Aluke :) ENJOY!! I LOVE YOU ALL!

"We kissed, Jules! You understand me right? I kissed someone that I've had a crush on since we met. We kissed!" Alex exclaimed. They were sitting on her bed in her bedroom, just the two of them. Julie was painting her nails while Alex spilled about the intimate moment he and Willie shared just a few nights before.

"I'm really happy for you, Alex." She replied.

Alex smiled back. He was so excited now that he had a boyfriend. But not just anyone. It was Willie.

"You want me to do your nails?" She asked.

Alex looked at her funny. "Paint my nails?"

"Right... no one cares Alex. I actually think you'd look adorable with nail polish."

"What do you mean "no one cares"?"

"I mean that nothing has a gender. Clothing, toys, painting your nails, etcetera." Julie pulled out her phone and showed the picture of Harry Styles wearing a dress.

"Woah." Alex gasped.

"Gorgeous, right?"

Alex nodded, blinking a few times to make sure he was seeing this correctly.

"So... do you want me to paint your nails? I have a pretty pastel pink."

"Yes, please."

Julie got the pink from her nightstand drawer and started painting Alex's nails.

"So... um... can you explain to me the other day when you said you were bi?" Alex said, his voice wavering, anxious that he could be overstepping or something.

"Oh. Well, it really just means that I like both men and women. It's short for bisexual."

"Oh. That's cool. It's not gonna be weird that Luke and I dated in the past and like... you two are a thing now... right?"

"Yeah..."

"Okay. Sorry, I just feel like it's awkward since like... I don't know."

"Hey. It's okay, Alex. It's not going to be awkward. For Reggie? Maybe. For us it's not. Got it?"

Alex nodded letting out a giggle.

"Reggie is totally going to be the fifth wheel."

"Oh yeah."

Once Julie finished painting Alex's nails and put on the clear, top layer and waiting for it to dry, Alex marveled at them. They were so pretty.

"Thank you so much, Jules!" He gave her a hug.

"Absolutely. They look so good. Pink really suits you. You wanna go show the guys?"

Alex's smile faltered just a tad. "I don't how they'll react. I mean... I guess they'll find out one way or another but... I don't want them to make fun of me."

"Do you really think Luke and Reggie would make fun of you?"

Alex shrugged.

"No. They wouldn't. They're your best friends and basically your brothers and they love you so, so much."

Alex nodded.

The two headed down to the garage where Reggie and Luke were doing God knows what.

Julie opened the doors and Alex followed her in.

"There you two are. What were you guys doing?" Luke asked, looking up from his song book.

"Julie painted my nails." Alex smiled, showing the guys.

They looked at Alex's freshly painted, pastel pink nails.

"Oooo, pretty. Can you do mine?" Reggie looked from Alex to Julie.

"Of course."

Luke looked from Alex to Julie. "You okay, babe?" Julie asked.

"Yeah," Luke said, faintly. "It's just... the last time Alex had his nails painted was back when we were together. It used to be our thing..."

Julie looked over to Alex. "Oh. That's why you brought that up." Alex nodded, looking down.

"Hey, no. It's fine. I actually wouldn't mind having mine painted again. Blue?" Luke tried to clear the awkwardness that had fallen over the room.

Alex looked back up and smiled faintly.

"Okay then. To my room, I guess. I can paint everyone's nails."

Reggie jumped up, super excited.

The four of them headed to Julie's room and talked while she painted their nails. Alex loved that he had this family. They were the best he could ask for.
