Record Player

The beginning and the end

"WOO Can't wait for this party to get started!" said Kalliyah "Hey, calm down we still have three hours till everyone gets here" Ryan responded. "AHH SOMETHINGS GRABBING ME!!" screamed Paula from behind. Ryan jumped around and ran towards Paula. "HA GOT YOU." "WHAT THE HECK PAULA THAT SCARED ME SO BAD!" Ryan scolded. "Chill out it's not even that scary you crybaby." All three of them get interrupted by a knock on the door. "Guess who's here!?" Jacob and Jackson burst into the asylum. "Let's get this party started!!!!" Jackson said. "Jacob where are you going?" Kalliyah asked in a high-pitched tone. "Come on, let's go look around before we set up!" Jacob replied. "Ok as long as Paula doesn't pull anymore tricks." Ryan sneered. "And as long as Ryan doesn't try to kiss Jacob." Paula replied. "SHUT IT!" Ryan yelled. "Ok you know what, I'll just go by myself." Jacob said obviously annoyed at Paula. He exited to the hall on the right. "Hey how bout we just wait for Jacob to come back and then set up." Ryan said. 

After 30 minutes have passed, Jacob still hasn't come back. "Do you guys hear that humming noise?" Jackson asked. "Let's go check it out" Kalliyah said. They all start heading towards the sound coming from the hallway on the right. They all turn to see Jacob staring at something in the room. He is humming a circus musical tune. "Wow, I didn't know Jacob could sing!" Paula said sarcastically. "Jacob what are you looking at?" Ryan asked with a panicked tone. Jacob doesn't respond and walks into the room. The group follows. They see an old record player sitting on a desk. As soon as they walk in, the lights go out. The record player plays the same circus music that Jacob was humming. "Uh guy's, what is happening?" Ryan asks. A scream pierces the air. The lights go back on to reveal Jacob and the record player is gone. "Haha, not funny Paula." Ryan says in a shaky voice. "Wasn't me." Paula puts her hands up not seeming to give a care. "Wait what is on the desk?" Jackson asks. "It is a piece of paper." Kalliyah goes into the room and picks up the paper. "Find your friend or meet you doom" She says reading the note. 

"Well lets go 'find our friend'" Paula says. The group of now four continues further into the building. Paula shoves Kalliyah into Jackson. "Guys this is serious, Jacob is gone!" Ryan yells at Paula. "Okayyyyy..." Paula says with a wink. She opens the closest door and falls into a trance. She starts humming another upbeat circus tune with a blank face. "Paula stop this isn't funny anymore!" Ryan screams at Paula. The group looks at Paula as the lights go off. The humming stops and is replaced with the record playing the same tune. 

When the lights go on, Paula is gone and a piece of paper is left in her place. Jackson picks it up and reads in a shaky voice, "I warned you." Ryan bursts into tears. The group turns and walks down the hall while Kalliyah tries to calm Ryan. "It's ok, it is probably all fake." The group continues walking while Kalliyah stays behind. She opens the door and her face goes blank. She starts humming something that sounds like it was pulled from a horror movie. Ryan screams at her. "KALLIYAH!" She sobs. Jackson runs towards Kalliyah as the lights shut off. The record player starts playing the same music. The lights stay off. Kaliyah is snapped out of her trance. Ryan runs towards Jackson as Kalliyah guides them back down the hall to the entrance. They hear a knocking on the door as the guest arrive. 

The record player stops as Kalliyah disappears. Ryan and Jackson bang on the door screaming for help. People from outside say "We are going to get you guys help don't worry!!" as they go to find someone to help them out. The record player starts playing a deep tune one.... final.... time.... The screaming and screeches stop as the record player starts getting choppier and choppier as a deep voice says in tune with the music "I warned you....."
