*Ten Years Ago*

*Three Years Ago*

"You're never going to change. You're always gonna be a bitter, lonely woman."

The woman whispers after the door closes. "Little do you know..." Tears are running down her face.

*Present Time*

"I think we should tell them."

"Are you sure they're ready for that?"

"We've kept this a secret for 10 years. They're our family and they need to know."

"Alright. How about we tell them at dinner next week?"

"That's fine."

*The Next Week*

"Ready?"

"As ready as I'll ever be."

The two walked through the doors of the Air Temple where the whole family was waiting. The Beifongs, The Firelords, The Air Bending family and Pema, Iroh II, Team Avatar, and The Water Tribe folks. The two women engaged in conversations with their family members.

Pema and Katara were in the kitchen preparing the last of the food while everyone enjoyed their drinks and talked. The kids were playing outside. It looked like one big happy family. But two of them only had one thing on their minds.

"Korra!! Lin!! Come help bring out the food please!" Katara called. Both women got up and jogged to the kitchen, bringing out multiple dishes at a time.

"Everyone go sit at the table." Pema announced as Asami went outside to get the kids. Everyone gathered around the table and Tenzin blessed the food.

As everyone started eating, one person cleared their throat and looked at their partner. They shared a mutual understanding and stood up together.

"Um.."

"We have an announcement to make."

"More like a secret."

"Yeah."

Korra: "You guys seem... nervous."

Asami: "Shush Korra."

"We're married."

Everyone gasped and Bumi cheered. Everyone only thought they were dating but this was.... shocking.

"And we have been for 10 years."

"WHAT!" Everyone yelled.

Tenzin: "How could you not tell us?!"

Toph: "I know."

Su: "LIN WHAT THE FUCK!" All the kids looked at the raging Beifong. "That's your ex's sister!!"

Tenzin: "I'm fine with-"

Su: "Shut up Tenzin!"

Lin: "Why do you care so much?? We already asked him if it was okay with him! Either way everyone thought we were dating and was okay with it. Why is it a problem now?"

Kya: "Lin baby calm down."

Lin: "No I'm not going to calm down!! I want to know if she has some sort of problem?!"
