Personally I never understood why my mom decided that just because she's best friends with someone, I thrn have to like her children. Well hell no. Her friends may be nice and stuff, but their kids sure aren't.
My mum, The Butlers, the Holdens, and the Fords have been best friends since forever. They were the perfect cliche, all of them being cheerleaders and having boys fall at their feet.
After high school all of them stayed in their hometown of Mobil, Alabama eventually marrying their childhood sweethearts. Except my mother who had her heart broken by the bad boy, so she moved away the first chance she got.
Of course the 'bffs!' kept in touch and have been meeting up every year for the past 19years - me being 17, that means that for my entire life I have had to put up with the children from hell.
Once each and every year my parents drag me back to Mobil to see her friends - this means that once every year I spend two weeks with Adrian Butler, Parker Holden and Leo Ford...
Okay so most people wouldn't mind having live-in with possibly the whole of America's best looking males. But trust me you don't know them, ever since I can remember the two weeks I am forced to stay with them, they have spent torturing me with any means possible.
One time when I was ten Adrian put green hair dye in my shampoo, I had spent days walking around town with seaweed coloured hair, after having washed it around 10 times it finally started to come out. Although he vowed to our parents it had nothing to do with him, I knew it was, and ever since then it's been war.
