My name is Karlee Nicole Spears and I'm turning 18 tomorrow and I going to tell you my love story. Everday started out as usual I woke up and put on my favorite mini skirt and white tank with a camisole over it with a pair of my cowgirl boots. Then I when down stairs and my mom told me that I need to pack my bags because she had an surprise for me and that my best friend was coming with us and she said as I was walking up the stairs pack super cute things. I ran up stairs an packed all my clothes and put my laptop on the top and all the cords in a side pocket and got my purse looked to see if it had my phone and my iPod in it. I got my phone out and texted Lauren and said mom said you were coming over?? Lauren text back saying yeah I'm at the front door. So I went downstairs to let her in the house. She started jumping up and down and saying you are going to love love love your surprise. I said yeah I can't wait y'all know I can't wait! Mom said we are leaving in 5 minutes so you better get your backs and hurry up. I did I had like my whole traveling set filled with clothes and shoes. Mom said time to leave and she turned and locked the door. It was a 30 minute car drive from my house to the airport so I listened to my iPod touch and told everyone I was leaving and be back on in a week or two. I was turning 18 tomorrow I couldn't believe it and I was getting something big to I just don't know what it is yet. We arrived at the airport just on time for are flight I had never been on and airplane before so I was nervous about flying. We got the plane Lauren sit down beside me and mom in front of us. I said how does being 20 feel? You'll love it but I think you will love 18 too. 5 hours seem like the longest time I had to endure on the plane as we arrived I seen the LAX sign and I knew we were in California but why? Nobody told me anything about why because it was part of the surprise. I just rolled my eyes. I walked to where we got our bags and got mine, mom's, and Lauren's. They came over and pick them up. Then we walked outside in was dark I looked at my phone and it said it was 10:00pm. I seen a limo that said Spears and mom walked over to him and said that's us and we got in and rode for like 2hrs and I seen a sign that said Welcome to Long Beach, California! All I knew now was True Blood was filmed here. We got to Hampton hotel Mom went up to the desk and checked us in. We went to the rooms. I went in my and Lauren's and got a shower. I put on my black satin nightgown and wait for Lauren to get out of the shower I need to talk to her. She come out and sit on her bed she said you better not be asleep. I said I'm not what are we doing here? I'm not going to tell you because it is a surprise. I said fine that's okay I'm not going to talk to y'all are until I find out what it is. She said fine whatever. I woke up that morning and got dressed I wore a white lace dress with my cowgirl boots and curled my hair and did my makeup. When I got done Lauren and my mom was sitting on the bed and screamed Happy Birthday Karlee! I said thanks and hugged them. We got in a taxi and went to get something to eat. When we got done I couldn't believe where we went next. The film set of True Blood I couldn't believe it. I walk to the door and knocked someone said come in please as I opened the door all the lights was cut off. When mom and Lauren walked in all of the sudden the lights were turned on.
