If I hadn't met you I wouldn't be who I am today.

If I hadn't said a word to you on that faithful night all those years ago,
I wouldn't have found my happiness.

I wouldn't have found you.

Because it was you who taught me to love the simplest things in life.

The way it feels to be at peace as the rain hits the glass of windows on a stormy day

The way stars hold millions of secrets, locked away forever. Never to be told.

You once told me how I'm never truly alone.

Even if I don't have anyone with me at that given moment.

I can look at the moon and wish, knowing there are millions of other people doing just the same as me.

It gave me comfort to know that.

Thank you for always bringing me a sense of wonder with every day that came.

You were a beauty this world would never be capable to understand.

If only I had more time to teach you all the things you taught.

But I don't, instead I have the rest of my life. To be without you, each day missing you a little more.

At least now I'll know when I look up at the night sky. I will see you dancing amongst the stars
