Jack Deebree wasn't always an outcast. He was once a very simple kid like the rest, always playing and had friends. That all changed when he was about 9. Jack's dad had a serious drinking problem and he was always hitting Jacks mom. Well, one day he was playing outside by himself when he heard his mom yell. He ran inside to see his dad, drunk again, beating his mom. Jack decided right then and there that he should protect his mom. So he did he ran over to his mom and got between them, yelling "STOP, PLEASE STOP SHE CAN'T TAKE ANYMORE!" Jack's father punched Jack in the gut making him fall to the ground, and left the house to go to a bar. Jack managed to get up and rush to his mother, luckily she was only a little bruised.
Jack called the police and within a few days his dad was arrested. Jacks mother had to be in a wheelchair to recover. Jack stopped going to school when he turned about 10, to care full time for his mom, who was still recovering. Jack started working as early as he could. Jack grew fond of his computer, on it day and night. Jack always had a dark side, reading about horror and gory things. He knew it wasn't real, or so he thought, be he liked it anyway.
