Blood soaking her clothes, Adelaide shamelessly walked through the Assassins' Assembly. Eyes followed her, whispers were heard throughout the hall. All wondering what Adelaide had done.
Hearing all the commotion, Archer stepped out of his office. One glance at Adelaide had his face turning red with rage. Adelaide smirked and walked past him into his office. She sat smirking in Archers office chair.
A second later, the door opened and Archer's lean body stepped through.
"What have you done?"
"This is seeming to become a reoccurring question when i'm around." Adelaide responded eyes shining with amusement.
"Why are you covered in blood?" Archer asked, his fists clenched.
"Mitch betrayed us, so I killed him" She shrugged.
Archers body went still.
"What?"
"Yes, well I have some business to attend to, I'll see you later."
With that statement Adelaide gracefully walked out of the room. She had one problem, the prince was still missing. Adelaide racked her brain for possible hiding spots. She knew Stelenia inside and out.

Leo was nowhere to be found. There was only one place Adelaide hadn't looked. She walked along the river bank, eyes searching for the hidden lever. She found it, yanked it open, and crept along the sides of the tunnel. Voices could be heard as she got deeper inside. It sounded like two men. She slid her hold up and pulled out a dagger. The end of the tunnel revealed a dungeon. Chains and shackles littered the ground. She heard groaning. The voices echoed through the room. Water was dripping creating an eerie feeling.
Adelaide snuck closer. Victory! Leo was there. He looked horrible, bruises covered his skin, blood was dripping from various cuts. The men were discussing what to do with the prince. It was clear they thought he was still passed out, but Adelaide knew he wasn't from the twitch in his fingers.
The men were still focused on each other. That made it easy for her to sneak up and slit both of their throats. Leo opened his eyes slowly. A smirk crept onto his perfect face.
"You know, with you saving me all the time, i'm actually starting to think you like me." He said, eyes dancing with amusement.
"Don't flatter yourself, I'd just prefer to kill you myself." Adelaide said twirling her dagger to make a point.
She quickly untied him and led him out of the tunnel. They walked back to the palace, Adelaide had taken off her cloak to reveal normal teenage girl clothes. She'd explained to Leo to pretend like she was a friend to get her into the palace. If he'd screwed things up she would kill everybody around.
The guards asked the prince who his "friend" was and Leo did exactly as he was told. They let them pass without a second glance. Prince Leo led her to his room, even though Adelaide knew the palace inside and out. The room looked no less glam than the last time.
She sat down on his huge bed and looked around. "You really don't like to be subtle do you?"
"Why would I want to be, I'm the prince of Stelenia."
Adelaide rolled her eyes. "I hate you."
"I know." Leo said distracted.
