Chapter 6: Flirting at the mall

**JC'S POV**
We left iHop and headed to the mall.
"What store should we go to first?" Asked Kian.
"I don't about you guys but me and Maria are going to Aeropostale" Katy looked at Maria.
"Yas, gonna get us some stuff from Bethany Mota's collection" They high fived while laughing.
"We'll go too" Ricky said.
We started walking to Aeropostale which was almost on the other end of the mall. I decided to talk to Katy.
"Hey" I said.
"Hey" she smiled, gosh she was so pretty.
"So, you're a fan of Bethany Mota?" I asked
"Yeah, I've wanted to start a YouTube channel because of her but I don't know" She looked at the floor.
"I could help you with that if you want"
"Really?" She looked at me
"Yeah, I would love too" I smiled
"I'll think about it"
For a couple hours we went to different stores and got a lot of stuff
"I'm tired and hungry" Connor said while we were just walking around.
"How about we put our bags in our cars and then head to the food court?" Maria suggested
"Yes please" Katy said.

**KATY'S POV**

We left our bags in our cars and went to the food court.
"I don't know about y'all but I want some Chick-Fil-A" Maria said
"Amen sister" We laughed
"That sounds good to me" Connor said
We headed to Chick-Fil-A and ordered our food. The guys went to go get a table while me and Maria waited for our food.
"Jc has been flirting with you all day!" Maria squealed.
"No he hasn't"
"Look, you're blushing!" I laughed at her childishness.
"Okay, I'll be honest. I like him a little but we just met yesterday." I confessed.
"If he called you this morning that means he was thinking about you" She stated.
"I guess you're right but we'll found out sooner or later if he likes me"
"Katy!" the lady yelled
I grabbed our food and headed to the table. When we got there Jc told everyone to act natural. I acted like I didn't hear it.

**JC'S POV**

Us guys headed to find a table while Katy and Maria waited for our food. We found a table and sat down.
"Bro you've totally been flirting with Katy" Kian said
"Is it obvious?" I asked rubbing the back of my neck.
"Yeah but I don't think Katy has noticed" Connor pointed out.
"I like her but we just met yesterday and I don't wanna rush into things"
"You should wait like a week or two" Ricky suggested.
"Act natural, they're coming" I whispered.
They sat down, Katy sat across from me.
We smiled at each other.
