Can't Be Broken Again

Colbys pov

Silence was filling the room while I stared at my ceiling and hugging one of my pillows. My phone made a noise it was the ringtone I had for Jake so I slowly sat up. I moved my hand over to my nightstand and grabbed my phone. I turned it on and went into my messages to see what Jake said to me.

Jake 💕- hey man!

Colby- hey :)

Jake 💕- I was wondering you want to come over? I'm having a small party with some of our friends :)

Colby- yeah sure what time should I come over?

Jake 💕- whatever time you wanna come over but I gtg I need to set stuff up :)

Colby- okay bye

After I sent that text I turned off the phone and walked twords my drawers. Once I got there I opened one drawer at a time to find myself some clothes to change into. Once I found some clothes I closed the drawers and walked into my bathroom. Once I got into my bathroom I shut the door behind me and put my clothes onto the sink. I then slipped off the clothes I had on and turned on the shower. Once I turned it on I got into the shower. The water burned my arms and legs really bad since some of my cuts hadn't closed up fully yet. After a couple of minutes I walked out of the shower. I walked over to the sink and put on the clean clothes. Once I put new clothes on I grabbed my blow dryer and plugged it in. I turned it on and started to dry my hair. I brushed my hair as I dried it so it would look better after. After a couple mintues I finished doing my hair so I unplugged the blow dryer and walked out of my bathroom. I then walked twords my bed and grabbed my shoes. I sat down on my bed and put my shoes and socks onto my feet. I then stood up, grabbed my phone and walked down the hard wood stairs. The stairs started creaking as I got twords the last stair. I finally got downstairs so i walked twords the door and grabbed my keys. I then walked outside and closed the door. I put the key inside the door to lock it. I then checked to make sure I locked it and walked twords my car. Once I got to my car i pressed the button that unlocks it and went inside. I closed the door and put the key into the car so I could start it up. The car then started so I then stepped on the gas and moved the steering wheel and started to drive. I then pressed the button that rolls the window down. The cold breeze comes into the car and makes a loud noise in my ears. After a couple mintues I was at Jake's house it doenst take very long to get there. I soon got to Jake's house so I got out of my car and locked it. I then walked to the door and opened it, it wasn't locked. I then closed the door behind me once I got in the house. I looked around and saw that there was more than a few people here. My heart rate started to go faster and I felt like I might pass out. Being in a crowded room gives me severe Anxiety. I just take a deep breath and run through the crowd of people and up the stairs. Once I got upstairs there was more people. I looked around to see where I could go. I found some rooms through the crowd but I couldn't get through. After a second or two I felt a hand on my shoulder. I turned around and saw Jake "sorry that I didn't tell you there was gonna be more than a couple people" I didn't say anything i just rubbed the back of my neck as my heart rate quickened. "You okay dude?" I shake my head "I don't like being in large crowds of people..." he then grabs my hand and walks me to his bedroom. We get to his room and we sit on his bed. "I'll be right back I'm gonna bring some of our friends in here to keep you company" I just nodded my head as he walked out and closed the door. I looked around his room. The walls were a dark red. His bed sheets and almost everything else was red and black. He also had alot of posters of bands that he really likes and that he got me into. He has also made a couple of songs and I really love them. I tried to focus at looking around his room but the loud music filled my ears. After a couple mintues of looking at his room the door opens and I see jake, Aaron, corey, sam, Kat, and some other girl I don't know. "W-whos that?" He looks at the girl and smiles while holding her hand "she's my girlfriend her names Tara we've been together for about a week" she smiles back at Jake a gives him a quick kiss on the lips. Everyone then sits on the floor or sits next to me. While we were all talking I kept looking at Tara. On the outside I was giggling and being all happy but deep down I was jealous and kind of full of rage and sadness. I can't belive he's dating someone.

*couple of hours later*

It's been a couple hours now and the party Is finally over. Me, jake, corey, sam, kat, and Tara were cleaning the place since practically everyone that came to the party really trashed the place. There were soda cans and beer bottles everywhere same with some food. There was alot of trash bags that we filled with trash. "Hey what's your name?" Tara says to me whispering I raised my eyebrow and just walked away from her. We all went outside and threw stuff out. "Its colby" she smiles as soon as Jake walks over "that's a nice name colby!" I then raise an eyebrow and nodded my head at what she said. "Isn't she sweet" Jake says with a cheerful voice "yeah...she is" I tried to say it as nice as possible. "I'm going to go home" I said to Jake and Tara "damn well I'll see you later man" Jake smiles at me and walks away. As I walk twords my car Tara for some reason followed me. I soon get to my car and try to unlock it "hey colby?" I turn around to look at her "what?" She looks around to see if anyone was looking at her. She then grabs me by the collar and brings my face a bit closer to hers "listen, if you go near Jake again I'll beat the shit out of you got it?" I said nothing I tried to speak but nothing came out "i know you like him. Just fucking stay away" she then turns me around and hits my head on my car and chuckles. I lifted my head and swiped my finger under my nose and when I looked at my finger there was blood on my finger. "What the fuck" I say under my breath. Tara then walks away from me. She then raised her hand and gives me the middle finger...what in the fuck just happened...
