The quest for the lost sword

The journey has only begun

As our heroes explored the big house rex came across a big door with a sign on top of the doors that said "library" he opens he tried to open the doors but they wouldn't budge so he decided to find something to help him open the doors but for now he'd have to look around. Meanwhile with wolf he had come across a big room and a the back of the room was a door that led to a very long corridor with lot's of worned out paintings some were big some were  small but there was this painting that really triggered his curiosity

Wolf: hmm... this painting looks very odd and it looks as if it were pointing somewhere or to something hmmm Mabey if I remove the painting from the wall there could be something behind it

And sure enough there was something behind the painting and what wolf had just discovered was an lever with a small plaque on it that said library and as wolf pulled the lever to the library a big sound was heard from the end of one of the corridors he then headed to look and see were the library was meanwhile rex was near the library so he heard the sound of it

Rex: w-what was that sound

Wolf: oh hey rex I was starting to wonder were you were at

Rex: oh god thank the heavens your here you won't believe what I just heard

Wolf: let me guess there was a loud noise and it came from the library

Rex: uhhh how did you know

Wolf: I found a painting and it seemed off so I took it off the wall and found lever with a small golden plaque on it that said library

Rex: oh wow so it was just you then oh thank the havens I also tried opening the library doors but they wouldn't budge i guess we can go in now then c'mon let's go

Wolf: ok lets go

As they walked in they saw an altar with a lectern in front of it that said only the chosen one will be able to remove the sword and restore balance to the good and banish the evil from this world but beware by retrieving the sword this will cause to break the seal that holds the evil in it

Wolf: what do you think it means rex

Rex: I don't know man but who do you think is the chosen one?

Wolf: well there is only one way to find out

Rex tried to pull the sword out with all his strength and he tried over and over and over again but it didn't move so wolf attempted to pull the sword out an to his surprise it was able to remove the sword out of the altar

Rex: WOW... So your the chosen one then huh?!

Wolf: heh ig I am ain't I

Rex: wait so if you're the chosen one those this mean that we have to on a quest to try and defeat the evil from this worl-

As rex was talking to wolf the doors to the library swung open and to the surprise of our two heroes an old man appeared at the entrance of the library he was wearing a black robe with a hood on over his head that covererd the old man's eyes. Wolf and rex stood there not knowing what to do, not knowing if he was hostile or not, so all they could do was just wait until something happened. Then the old man spoke and said "come closer young one" he spoke in a trembly like voice and he then repeated what he said before "come closer young one", wolf did as the old man had requested to do so and so he walked towards the old misterious old man.

Rex: wolf!? what are you doing what if he is armed or something

Wolf: I'll be fine... besides the guy is old what could he do

The old man later pulled a big leather bag that he had brought along with him although wolf and rex never noticed the bag. The old man then proceeded to introduce himself he said "greetings young ones my name is Jaro I come from a far place far from this land in search for the boy that would return with all medallion pieces and return them to the palace of Eden" , this surprised wolf and rex because they had been told stories of that palace but they were all myths or so they thought so......

WELL THATS IT FOR THIS ONE CHAPTER SORRRY IVE BEEN OUT FOR TOO LONG AND UGH LIFE HITS YALL HARD IN THE WORST TIME ALSO....ANYWAYS BYEEEE LOVE YALL (~￣³￣)~
