Derek awoke, hearing all the howling outiside in the forest surrounding his home. He stood and walked over to the window, peeking out into the darkness. Who's making all this noise? HE glanced around the forest, eyes glowing red as his anger grew. He turned away from the window, walking out of the room and heading out the front door.
He threw open the front door, making a loud thud as it hit the wall, and walked out onto the poor and looked around. "Who's out here?" He growled, knowing the people could hear him as he moved down the steps, glaring and hearing rustling and twigs snapping. Whoever it was, they were getting close.
As the bush ruslted, out stepped four people. Derek growled as he looked over them. "Are you the ones making all this noise?" He asked, eyes glowing red.
"Yes, it is us who was howling," said a young, handsome man, as he smiled and looked up to the half-full moon.
Derek was taken aback when he saw their eyes glow red as he shook his head. "You're all alphas," he whispered.
They all nodded and smiled. "Yes, we are." They all spoke at the same time looking at him, as the same man who spoke, obviously the leader, stepped foreward. "And you're the alpha of the pack that lives here, but you are by yourself, Derek."
"I'm not alone," Derek said, shocked that they knew his name when he didn't know any of theirs. "My pack's just not here." he added. looking up. "How do you know my name?" Derek questioned, almost ready to attack.
"We know about you, Derek Hale, and your uncle and sister." He said, stepping back with laughter, with the rest of the group. There seemed to be two other girls and two guys.
Derek growled at the mention of his sister. "How dare you speak of her like that, you know nothing. You are in my territory and I want you to leave." He said forcefully, growling and body shaking in anger.
They stared at him. "But we wish to stay here," the leader said, looking at him.
"No. I wan't you to leave." Derek demanded forcefully, shifting into his full wolf form, black fur swaying with the wind. "Now."
"Ah, so you wish for a challenge. We are not the ones to back down from a fight." He said as they all took their wolf forms as well. One was pure white, with a black moon on his forehead, another black as night, one tan like sand, and the last grey as ash, with black markings along the curve of his back and down his ankles, like anklets.
Derek growled, not liking the challenge but he was not about to back down from the wolves. "Before we fight, I want to know your names."
The white one with the moon spoke first. "I am Aria," she said with a smirk on her face.
Next to speak was they grey wolf, indroducing himself as Vincent.
After that, the black wolf spoke, saying "I am Ace."
Last to speak was all different shades of brown. She looked at him, and when he looked at her, she backed away but stood tall. "I'm Cassie," she said, smiling up at him.
"And as you all know, I'm Derek." he growled, ready to attack
