In all fairness, I was only there for the gemstones. I didn't say I'm getting attacked by a bunch of monsters living in the underground. Now I'm running away, finding an exit to this horrible place.

There's no ladder down, and the ladder up was blocked by tons of black-slugged creatures. It was all going bad.

I didn't even plan on visiting Harvey in the clinic today, even after yesterday.

I closed my eyes and just when I was about to give in and they all attack me at once. There was slicing and slashing noise all around. I was afraid to open my eyes.

After the noise stopped, a woman's voice followed. "Boy, you sure don't know how to defend yourself."

It was a familiar voice. A nice, sweet, and beautiful voice.

I cracked my eyes open to see purple-lavender hair, pair of leggings and boots, and with fair, white skin.

"Abigail?" I muttered out.

"Yep, you shouldn't come here if you're a scaredy cat! You wouldn't survive long." She said as she dispose of her sword out of the way.

"Thanks." I thanked her.

"Don't mention it! Let's go back up."

And so we climbed all the way up to the surface. It felt like hours I've been down there, and it's only been an hour or two. The sun shines upon my face and hers, the nice breeze gave us air. It was all normal.

I turned to look at Abigail, she's all covered in bruise, she's bloody all over her. I gasped, "we need to take you to Harvey right away!"

"No need, Harvey's just Harvey. And I'm a strong, independent woman! I can handle these minor injuries." She said. Then I heard soft, quiet, whispering whimpers.

It came from her.

I tsked at her and forced her to go to Harvey's. By then I gave up, she was harder than a magma geode.

I took a glance back at her. She's not healthy nor in a good state, but at least I need to thank her with something.

"Then I'll fix you up! Come, let's go to my Farm." I said, supporting her to walk.

We reached the Farm just in time for lunch. The crops were dried up from the heat of the summer sun. The animals laid down on the grassy field. My dog/cat, (P/N), running around the plains.

"Ahh you must be really busy, I should be going now!" She said. She tried to walk away, but I slipped my hand around her waist and pulled her closer.

I didn't know what I was doing. I didn't even notice what I was doing. "Nope, you're not!" I said.

"And I have nothing to do besides wait for the day to end. So it's nice to have some company around. Besides (P/N)."

She let out a sigh. "Fine.." She groaned. "But I'm not staying long."

I nodded and I let her inside the tiny house.

The house is a mess. All the tools were scattered around the floor. The remains of the burnt wood of the fireplace stayed intact. The ashes flowing with the wind that was let inside by the window. My bed was left unmade since this morning.

By then, I was embarrassed. My first visitor of my humble home. Now she thinks I'm a living mess.

"Sorry for the... Stuff. I don't live with anyone and I'm very irresponsible when it comes to cleaning..." I said in defeat and in full of shame.
