prologue

About seven years ago...

Beidou and Ningguang have been classmates at the last year of their highschool before moving to college. Between that year, they made a very unusual relationship. It was unpredictable since they only got close when they were partnered up at one activity that requires them to know new classmates. At that time, Beidou immediately falls for Ningguang. She realized that she enjoys being with her and that she's the only person in the world that makes her feel different. Day by day, her feelings grew even more so whenever she has the chance to be with Ningguang, she'll never take that opportunity away from her.

Ningguang would also find herself laughing and smiling whenever she's with Beidou but she only looked at her as a friend and not anything more in particular. Also the fact that she's never interested in something called love, only wanting to focus on her studies and dreams. As she excels in everything and a very talented person but her attitude can be sick sometimes. Anyway, for the reason that she has zero knowledge about love, she only thinks that Beidou is playing with her by flirting but little did she know she was dead serious about it. Hence, she would flirt back and sway together with her flowery words. This assumed Beidou that maybe Ningguang felt the same.

But she's bad at confessing so at that year, she never told Ningguang everything she felt.

There are also times when they would not speak for about days, having different friends and parties. Also the fact that Beidou is very shy at expressing her feelings. Knowing that Ningguang is someone that she'll never ever attain. Well, damn, she's right.
