My Minecraft Experience

A New World

...I realize that I am in a Minecraft world...

I was very surprised by the blocky world around me, but it wasn't like the normal vanilla Minecraft world. It had realistic textures and very real looking animals. The bright sun was high in the sky, so I wasn't worried about the monsters lurking in the dark areas.

I looked around and immediately saw an oak forest on my right side. I ran to the tree closest to me and hit it's bark with my fist. When I cut the log of wood off the tree, instead of floating in the air like a normal Minecraft world, the tree fell in front of me. I collected the remaining pieces of the wooden log and turned them into wooden planks. After that, I made a crafting table and crafted some wooden tools. At that time, I was quite hungry and decided to find some food.

I walked a bit until I saw a meadow, in the meadow there was a large group of cows grazing on the bright green grass. What I noticed after I killed a cow, was that this version of Minecraft was a little bit different from the game I used to play. This time, it was bloodier and scarier than the original game. It caught me off guard at first, but became desensitized after the fifth cow.

Right after killing the cows and getting their meat and leather, I looked for stone to make a furnace. I put the raw meat and some logs in the oven and waited for it to cook. When the oven finished cooking, I ate the hot,  cooked meat and began to make a wooden and cobblestone cabin. When I finished building the little cabin, it was getting dark. I had to wait up all night, as I could not find even a single sheep to grab it's wool and make a bed. So there I was, inside my cabin at night and listening to the haunting sounds of the monsters that lurked around my little wooden house...
