*Riley POV*

Riley rolled onto her back and closed her eyes, taking fast, deep breaths. Dean rolled onto his side and leant up on his elbow, leaning over her.

"You should go on top more often." Dean smirked down at her.

Riley rolled her eyes playfully and swatted at his chest. Dean lowered his head and kissed her. Riley wrapped her arms around his neck and returned the kiss. Suddenly her phone buzzed on the nightstand and Dean pulled away with a heavy sigh.

"Can't a guy catch a break?" Dean groaned.

Riley unlocked her phone and opened the text message.

"It's from Sam." Riley said.

"Tell him to get his own girlfriend and leave mine alone." Dean said sarcastically.

"Possessive much?" Riley teased.

"Hey, I only got a year to live, I gotta make every moment count." Dean pouted.

"That's not funny." Riley glared at him. "Come on, he's waiting outside."

Riley got out of bed and quickly got dressed. Dean reluctantly followed her and pulled his own clothes on. With a final kiss, the two of them left the motel to find Sam sitting in the impala out front, reading a book. Riley climbed into the backseat and Dean took his usual spot in the drivers seat.

"Finally!" Sam exclaimed.

Dean waggled his eyebrows at Sam with a wide grin.

"Sorry, Sammy." Riley chuckled. "Have you been sat here the whole time?"

"Most of  it yeah, I went to get some food after about half an hour of waiting then got back about an hour ago." Sam nodded.

"You waited out here for over two hours while we had sex?" Dean raised a brow at him.

"It's not like I sat here staring at the door waiting for you to finish." Sam rolled his eyes. "I've been looking for a lead to free you from your deal with the demon."

"Anything?" Riley said hopefully.

"Not  yet." Sam shook his head.

"I'm telling you, it's a waste of time." Dean sighed. "You can't break a deal with a demon."

"Well you may have given up, but we haven't." Riley said firmly.

"I didn't say I'd given up, I'm just being realistic." Dean shrugged.

Riley glared at him. "Can we change the subject please?"

"You can't keep avoiding it, Riley." Dean said.

"Watch me." Riley said sharply.

Riley was currently in a state of denial. Although she knew the inevitable outcome of Dean's deal, she refused to acknowledge it. Whenever the subject was brought up, Riley would excuse herself from the room or she'd pretend to be interested in something else, ignoring the conversation. Both Sam and Dean had attempted to get her to open up, but Riley refused. Thankfully the subject was quickly changed by Bobby calling Dean's phone. He informed them of a possible demonic sighting outside of Lincoln, Nebraska.

"Alright, we'll meet you there." Dean said, hanging up.

"What did he say?" Sam asked.

"Crop failure and cicada swarm outside of Lincoln. Not a lot to go on but it's all we've got right now." Dean said.
