Chapter 16

"Bakit ka nandito?" I asked my father who was now on the front door. Nakasilip ito sa loob ng bahay nila Mae at tinitignan ang kabuuan.

"Bakit ka nandito?" Ulit ko sa tanong. I was about to close the door when he hold me. Sapilitan niya akong inilabas sa bahay na iyon at pinapasok sa loob ng sasakyan.

Pilit kong binubuksan iyon pero naka lock. My father lock it up. Mae came out of the house and found me inside the car. She tried to open it too then but my Dad start the engine and drive. I saw the frustration and madness on Mae's face while looking at the moving car.

"Saan tayo pupunta Daddy" I shouted at him.

"Iuuwi ka. Your mom got ballistic when someone told her that you and Raiko got married the 3 days ago" kalmadong saad ni daddy

Tila ba ay naging yelo ako sa kinauupuan ko ng marinig iyon. Then a memory flash back to me when Luke called and order me to go down.

"Do you Larissa love Raiko Romulo?" Kahit na sobrang naguguluhan ay binigkas ko ang sagot.

"I do"

"Do you take Larissa Vicente Raiko?"

"Tito naman ano to?" Raiko asked.

"He do papa" saad ni Luke. The old man smile before pushing the paper into Raiko's front

"Sign it. And you too hija" he said to me. After we sign ay tumayo na ang dalawa bago ako niyakap ni Luke.

"Congrats. You are officially Mrs Raiko Romulo" he said to me before leaving us there.

So that's why they are happy when they leave the house. He got me married to Raiko. Half of me was celebrating but half of me was not. Gusto kong pag tatadyakan si Luke dahil sa kagaguhang ginawa niya.

"Bakit mo ginawa yun?"

"What? Ako na naman!" Inis  kong sigaw sa kaniya.

Ako na naman. Hindi ko nga alam na kinasal na pala ako sa kaniya. Ni hindi ko nga naisip na lilinlangin ako ni Luke pag dating sa ganito.

"Larissa—"

"Don't talk to me daddy! Just go drive and I want to sleep at my room!"

Bumuntong hininga lamang siya bago pinagpatuloy ang pag drive. What will happened if she get back to the mansion? Sasalubungin ba siya ng mga matatalim na mata. Sasalubungin ba siya ng mga sampal. What was waiting on her there. I can't imagine it. At habang papalapit kami ng papalapit. Habang nagiging pamilyar ang daanan ay mas lalong bumibigat ang dibdib ko.

Ayoko pang umuwi.

Ayoko nang umuwi.

That wasn't my home

That isn't my home and will never be.

"Go on. Bumaba ka na" saad ni daddy noong iparada niya ang sasakyan sa tapat ng dalawang nag lalakihang pinto. I want to shut myself inside my father's car but I shouldn't.

"Ayoko Daddy"

"Go on. Maybe I not a good father to you but still you are a good daughter. But you know how much I love your Mom right. I can't disagree with her" tumango ako sa kaniya. Nag babadya na ulit ang mga luha ko ngunit kailangan kong maging matatag. Nagiging emosyonal ako dahil sa ipinag bubuntis ko.

"Magiging ayos ba ang lahat pag pasok ko daddy?" I asked him

"It will never change at all but I'll stay beside you. Hindi man kita kayang ipagtangol pero mananatili ako"
