You know that day, when you feel like it's going to be a shit day? Yeah. Well today was that kind of day. It was a Monday and I had to ride the bus. I know, the last thing you want to do on a Monday morning, get on a school bus with a bunch of annoying loud middle schoolers and high schoolers.

I hear "Good morning Cheyanne" from the new bus driver that everyone hates
"Morning" I said back to him. I get on the bus and of course I hear all the high schoolers talking about the latest drama. I walk towards the back of the bus where my two friends, Nicole and Elizabeth that I have known sense first grade are sitting in five seats from the back of the bus. I sit a seat in front of them, because "no more than two to a seat" is one of the new bus drivers rules. Not like we could fit three to a seat anyway, maybe when we we're in elementary.

Usually when Nicole and Elizabeth are sitting next to each other on the bus they don't really include me in they're conversation, so that's when I just put in my headphones and listen to Hollywood Undead.

As we come to a stop, at one of the new houses off of Jackknife Road, a girl gets on the bus. All of the highs schoolers are either saying "is she in high school or junior high?" Or "she's hot." Then there is Nicole and Elizabeth not even paying attention. The new girl grabs a seat in the front of the bus. I was wandering the same thing as the high schoolers "is she in high school or junior high." I was hoping she was in junior high. I don't know, something about her makes me want to know her.

When we got to the junior high, where me and all the rest of the seventh and eighth graders get off. The new girl gets off too, I try to follow her to see where she goes. I try to walk with Nicole because, by the time Elizabeth gets off the bus she's already with her other friend, Olivia probably talking shit about everyone.
"Did you see the new girl?" I asked Nicole
"Yeah. I wander what grade she is in?"
"I was going to try and follow her and see where she goes." As we enter the schools front doors we see the new girl and her black curly hair walks in to the office.
"She's going to get her schedule probably" replying Nicole
"Yeah let's go down to the lunch room" I say back to her.

When we get in to the cafeteria I usually stay at the front doors and stand with my friend Sophie because, I'm not friends with most of Nicole's friends.
"How was your weekend?" I asked Sophie
"It was good, I went shopping like usual" she replied. Sophie's the friend that you use to be best friends with but, then when we got in middle school and, we got new friends and we slowly stopped talking. I mean we talk I little every morning. Anyways, As I try to carry on with the conversation the bell rings and everybody floods into the hallways.
