Once upon a time in the kingdom of France lived to people, one woman and a man, as different as anyone could be. She, the baker's daughter and him, the King's only son, get to know each other through miraculous events that normally only happen in fairy tales.

A/n: A miraculous AU! Yea~ I'm gonna love writing this story since I love books and stories written during the Middle Ages/ the medieval ages. I hope you will like it as much as I probably and hopefully will like writing this story. I don't have much in thought of what to write yet but when I've started to think of a plot I will.
I don't owe any of the characters in this story except if I put in any random people you do not know of in the miraculous series.

Just, FYI; their language won't be the same as it was in the medieval ages, there might be some slip-ups where people say things like "don't" or "she's" instead of "do not" and "she is". That's just because I'm so used to writing and it's hard not to use them in writing. I also want to say that the characters will have a few different dreams and ambitions in life, and also a bit different personalities. I love a confident Marinette and a shy but cunning Adrien.
This was not really a prologue, but I wrote it either way!
