15- Part of the island

Sitting on a log, watching the fire crackle, i hear someone walking up to me and they sit beside me.

I sigh as they put their arm around my shoulders and i rest my head on their shoulder.

"I can't believe that he fired an arrow at me!" I say as i sigh

"You know that he just wanted Henry" Peter says as we both watch the fire dance

"But why?" I say as i start to think about it more "Why would he want to save Henry, he's Emma's son, what's Henry to him?" I ask as i remove my head from his shoulder and i sit up, turning to Peter

"It's because he's his son as well" He says and i raise an eyebrow

"You mean-"

"Yes... He and Emma.... they used to be together" Peter says and i rub my hands over my face

"Now it makes sense" I say "How did you know?" I ask him

"Here" Peter says as he puts out his hand and i put my hand in it, as he places his second hand on top of it

"Peter, what are you-" I start to say and then i feel it, the power flowing in me.

He takes his hand back and he smiles at me

"What did you do?" I ask him, still confused

"Now you can feel everything that i feel. Whenever anyone enters the island, you'll feel it, when anyone so much as whispers a secret... you'll know it" He says and i smile as i lean over the log to him and i hug him

"Thank you, Peter" I say to him and he just nudges his nose into my neck as a reply and i laugh.

The next day, i get woken up by a strange feeling and i throw on one of the outfits that i own and i rush outside.

I stand by the fire and i look around.

"You felt it, didn't you?" Peter asks as he walks over and i nod as he smiles "Baelfire has split away from the dark one... he's walking to the other side of the island with Henry, he doesn't trust his Father anymore."

"Let's go" I say as i run off into the direction that i feel him walking.

After slowing to a halt behind a tree, i watch as Bae puts down Henry, still in a sleeping state.

I follow Peters lead as he steps out from the tree, presenting himself in front of Bae.

I watch as the other lost boys make a circle around him.

"I thought i taught you better" Peter says as Bae looks at him "Never brake in somewhere unless you know the way out"

"Well, i'll be sure to think of that next time" Bae says as he looks around him to see a group of lost boys.

"Well there isn't going to be a next time" Peter says

I gesture to Henry and Felix, the oldest lost boy, goes and picks Henry up.

"I will get my son back, i will do whatever it takes" Bae says and he looks at me as Peter gets up in his face

"Don't you get it, you took Henry from me... and i took him back, it's the game. There is no escape. No one gets off this island without our permission" Peter says

"Our?" Bae says as he raises an eyebrow

"Our." I say as i look at my traitor best friend.

"Well i've done it before" Bae says

"Did you?" Peter says

"Are you saying that you let me go?" He asks Peter

"I'm saying that everyone is where i want them" He says and i smile

I turn to see Henry stirring from the sleeping spell that we put on him earlier

"Something to chew on" I say as Felix begins to walk off with Henry

"Henry!!!!" Bae shouts as he gets dragged away by some of the other lost boys

"He can't hear you" I say as i look at him "I think it's time to reset the board.... let the game begin again"
