Chapter 27

I hadn't had a minute alone with Chase since he woke and my wolf is driving me absolutely insane. All she wants is him. his eyes, his hair, his lips, his muscles, God his muscles and that body!....

I focus my mind back on what I was trying to get done.

Even though Chase is back I have still been in hate of all of the Alpha responsibilities, the doctor says that Chase isn't allowed to even think about Alpha responsibilities for another month.

So that's what I will be doing. Not that I mind, I would much rather be doing this for 1 months because Chase is sick than the rest of my life because Chase is dead.

I only have 2 problems with it.

1: I literally haven't seen chase since he woke up. not once.

2: I have to leave in 3 days for 5 days to go to a stupid alpha conference.

I start to focus back on the buisness at hand. I had a pile of papers that needed aproval and a very agitated wolf.

She basically wasn't going to let me do anything unless I jumped Chases bones RIGHT NOW!

The worst part was that my head had been killing me. I'm not exactly sure why and I will have to go see the pack doctor soon, but since Chase will find out about it and worry I'm just going to keep my mouth shut for now.

I look at a form that needed to be filled out, to allow a member from another pack onto our territory.

I decided to set it aside since it couldn't be that important at the moment.

A large pile of paper on the side of the desk caught my eye.

I reached for it and saw that they were paper about the wars my pack had been a part of and all the packs who are after us.
Then I look through a few pages to see there were several with threats across them.

I felt my headache increase and I was relieved when there was a small knock at the door and I called out that it was open.

Jake walked in.

"Hey little sis! Your mate is finally in his own bedroom and is asking to see you." he stated with an odd look on his face.

My human side groaned thinking of all the work there was to be done, but my wolf side jumped at the opportunity to see her mate.

I got up from the desk and made my way past Jake and up the stairs.

When I opened Chases door I was surprised to see Chase siting up and shirtless.

I thought I was going to start drooling at the sight!

"Hey doll why don't you calm down before things get out of hand!"

"What if I want things to get out of hand?" I asked moving next to him on his bed.

"that's the heat talking babe and I don't want anything to happen if you aren't 100% ready."

"That's sweet but if you don't take me right now I think I'm going to go insane, and besides that! You fucking died! You were gone and I have you back there is no ducking way I am waiting any longer I want the bond to be complete and I don't ever want to lose you again!"

"You wont, besides right now I need to make sure you are alright." he said concern filling his beautiful eyes.

"Yes of course I'm fine why wouldn't I be?" I asked hoping he didn't know about the pain pounding in my skull from my head ache.

"My wolf has been driving me crazy telling me about the amount of pain you are in right now and it has me really worried. Now don't like to me are you okay?" He was very stern and it was a huge turn on.

"Just a head ache but I can think of something that will help."

I saw lust stream into his eyes and the next thing I knew his lips were on mine.

Okay so I'm trying my hardest (aside from language) to keep this book pg-13 so I will probably go back when I'm editing a long time from now and go into more detail or whatever, but for now it's up to your inagination.

I lay on top of him just breathing heavily.

I could feel him, not just physically but it felt like he was a literal part of me

"Are you okay?" He asked panting slightly.

"Stop asking me that. I should be asking you that." I said tying to avoid the fact that my head was still pounding but at least the pain from the heat had finally subsided.

"I know it's just my wolf know that you are happy and feel better because the pain from your heat is gone, but you are still in pain."

"I'm fine really."

I moved to wear my head was on his chest and I could hear his heart beating.

I loved the sound. I had missed this sound. I felt a teat trickle from eye and fall into his bare skin.

Chase lifted my head and eyes to reach his.

"I thought I was going to lose you."
A smile made its way onto his face,
"You can't get rid of me that easy."

I felt a smile form on my face and I was so glad to just be here in his arms.

I felt so complete.

I wanted to savor the moment but it was short lived because at that moment I summoned to answer an emergency phone call.

I went down stairs to "my" office and answer the call.

"This is Maggie."

"YESS I heard you were the one filling in for Chase. I am Andrew alpha of the silver moon pack. the conference between the alphas has been changed to an earlier date. we need you here by tomorrow morning I suggest you leave now."

Then he hung up.

Well, shit!

AUTHORS NOTE OKAY I KNOW I KNOW ITS SHORT AGAIN!! BUT I REALLY WANTED TO IPDATE SO HERE YA GO!!
