Haley’s P.O.V
“Haley wake up time for your first day” My mother sounded more existed then I was
I opened my sleepy eyes and stretched
“First day of high school this should be fun” I rolled my eyes
I slipped on my favourite green fluffy slippers along with the matching housecoat
I went downstairs to make some food
‘Waffles, cereal or toast?’ I thought to myself
“Cereal” I sang very loudly
I made myself some fruit loops and went to the table with my father
“Are you existed for your first day of high school?” My father asked
“Nope” I smiled well shoving a spoon full of colourful O’s down my mouth
“Why not?” He questioned me
“Well father you see freshman basically mean’s fresh meat in high school” I smiled sarcastically
“Well Haley the only way high school is going to be bad is if you make it that way so say hello be nice to everyone” My dad tried to brighten everything
“That not how high school works dad” I said bringing my empty bowl into the kitchen
“Well don’t base high school off of what you see in movies” He shot back
I walked out to where he was seated I gave him a kiss on the check “Have a good day at work” I changed the subject
“Love you sweet heart”
“Love you to dad” I ran up the stairs

I danced my way in to the bathroom did a 360 looked in the mirror and mocked ‘Hammer time’ with ‘Shower time’
I turned on the cold water and jumped in the shower. I turned on my waterproof radio and sang along to one of my favourite songs ‘Hey Soul Sister’
I washed my body with vanilla body soap and my hair with coconut shampoo and conditioner after that I just stood in the shower under the ice-cold water allowing myself to wake up
