As Tiana ran home she began to tear up but quickly stopped herself from crying. Tiana was never a person that liked to cry because she didn't want to seem weak. In fact the only person that has ever seen her cry was Carl. When she got home, she ran upstairs, changed into her pjs and got into bed. She stared at the ceiling for a while thinking about how Carl had lied to her before she finally fell asleep.
The next morning Tiana woke up to the sound of her alarm. She got yawned and headed to the bathroom to brush her teeth and everything. After that she head back to her room and decided to wear light wash baggy jeans, a red crop top, her red air forces, and a sweater because it was chilly out.
"Come get breakfast, your gonna be late" Her mom yelled from downstairs.
"Coming!" She yelled back as she ran down the stairs.

As Tiana walked into the school she saw Carl and Kylie kissing up against the lockers. She rolled her eyes and continued to look for her locker.
"Fuck" She mumbled as she realized that her locker was right next to Carl's locker where he was still
making out with Kylie. She quickly made her way to her locker trying to go as fast as she could so that she didn't have to be around Carl and his girlfriend for long.
"Oh hey Tiana." Carl said as he noticed her walking up to them. She ignored him and opened her locker.
"Yeah hey Tiana." Kylie said rudely while holding Carl's hand. Tiana glared at her but decided not to saying anything back. As she turned to leave, she tripped on her shoelaces and fell to the floor in front of everyone. Her backpack was opened so all of her stuff fell out too. Embarrassed, she stared at the floor trying to hide her face from everyone laughing at her. She saw a hand grabbing her stuff from the corner of her eye and she automatically knew it was carl. That's why she loved him so much, he was the type of boy to help you even if you didn't ask.
"Thanks" She said quietly as she stood up and took her backpack from Carl.
"No problem Tiana." He replied as he walked off with Kylie leaving her standing in the hallway alone.

Tiana woke up from her nap to someone knocking on her door. Reluctantly, she got off the couch and went to open the door. To her surprise it was Carl.
"Oh um hey, I didn't know you were coming over."
Tiana said quickly trying to fix her hair as he stepped through the door and sat at the table.
"Relax, you look good as always" Carl laughed lightly noticing what she was doing. Tiana laughed too even though she was embarrassed.
"I just wanted to see if you were okay from what happened at school." Hesaid
"Im fine." She replied staring at the floor.
"Ok." He said, "I was also wondering if maybe we could talk about last night." He continued nervously.
"I mean what is there to talk about Carl? You told me that you would wait and you didn't." Tiana said plainly.
"I'm sorry, i didn't mean for it to happen ok? I was lonely and then i met Kylie and we just clicked." Carl explained.
"What about me?" Tiana whispered sadly as she continued to look at the floor.
"I wasn't sure if you were ever going to come back to be honest."
"Are you going to stay with her?" She asked hoping that he would say no.
"Yeah." he said softly trying not to hurt her feelings. Tiana stayed silent, scared that if she tried to talk she would start crying.
"Tiana," Carl said as he lifted her chin up to make eye contact, "We can still be friends ok, your like my best friend and i want you in my life."
"Ok." She replied giving him a weak smile. "I'm gonna go do my homework now, bye carl" She said as she walked upstairs leaving Carl at the table by himself. Once she heard the front door close, she began to breakdown.
"What happened to forever?" She thought as she cried into her pillow. After a couple more hours of crying she passed out with tear stained cheeks and a sad heart.

"I hurt her" Carl thought as he laid down staring at the ceiling. He felt really bad about what happened with Tiana but he did like Kylie and he wanted to see where it would go. But he couldn't help but wonder if he made a huge mistake because something inside him knew that it was Tiana and it would always be Tiana that he loved the most.
