"Hello again" Bay says smiling, "Hi" Mike says quietly, "Need help?" "Uh, sure thanks, you can help me cut the peppers- you know I'm clumsy" "Yeah, sure." Mike walks up behind her, his hand grabs the peppers, he lays his head on Bay's shoulder and starts cutting them, Bay smiles, "Uh, are you comfortable?" She says, looking at Mike, "Yeah, I just want to, uh, to-" "Look Mike..." Bay starts, "If you're trying to make a move on me, it's not gonna work. I let that kiss last night slide because I didn't think much of it until now. I love you Mike, but like a brother, ok?"
Mike nods his head, he takes his head off of Bay's shoulder, "I didn't say I didn't like you resting on my shoulder" Mike smiles, Bay smiling back, he rests his head on her shoulder and continues to cut the food.
Thirty minutes later, Mike comes out the kitchen and goes back outside with Billie and Trè.
"So? What happened?" Billie asks, "She said she's loves me..." Trè gasps, "... As a brother..." Mike finishes off. Trè sits up from the chair, "Well, I guess that I'm next" he says standing up, "Don't you want to wait till lunch? Me and Mike will be upstairs while you guys are at the table" "Fine" Trè says sitting back down "In the meantime, we should come up with a list of facts about Bay" "Ok, now you're going a little crazy Trè" Mike says, Billie nodding his head in agreement, "Crazy is my middle name" Trè says, he takes out a piece of paper and pencil and starts writing:
° Scared to open up
° Pretty much tomboy
° Loves writing about feelings
° Does NOT love Mike
° Socially awkward
° Music = Blissful paradise
After Trè had finished writing he comes up with a plan.
"During lunch, we'll watch a movie" Billie and Mike look at each other, "Really? That's the best you can come up with?" Billie says shaking his head, "Hey, Bay likes the simple things- any simple gestures can swoon Bay" "Swoon?" Billie says, "It's a real word. Look it up" Trè says finishing the list.
"Well, we'll try with Trè in a few minutes when Bay finishes lunch" "Alright. Person number two: Trè Cool" Billie says looking at the two boys...
