Reagan's POV

"Jacob please....don't do this... Don't leave me, please!" Reagan pleaded.

"Reagan just get rid of that..that thing," he points to her stomach, "and I'll stay and we can go back to normal."

"You know that's not going to happen, Jake."

"Well then, you're on your own."

Reagan's heart fell as she collapsed on the floor right by the slamming door. She buried her face into her hands and wept as her world seemed to be crashing to pieces. Only two days ago she had found out she was 4 weeks pregnant with her boyfriend of 3 years, Jacob's, baby. She had just told him the news expecting him to be overjoyed at the announcement of their baby.

Boy was she wrong.

She weakly lifted herself up off of the tiled entryway and turned to go to her room. She passed all of the dirty dishes on the table which she would normally have cleaned up right away. But tonight she just didn't give a damn. She walked into her room and threw herself on her bed.

She was all alone.

Again.

What am I gonna do?

She couldn't go back to her mom's place. She wouldn't help her at all and her new husband is more creepy and perverted than any of her past boyfriends combined. Shana, her sister, was off doing who knows what, God knows where. She only hoped her younger sister was luckier than she had ever been.

Ever since their father died of a plane crash 6 years ago, life had become hell for Reagan. Her mother hadn't even looked at her since the day of the funeral. She had been forced to drop out of high school her junior year and get a job to pay for her new apartment at just 17, as her mother wouldn't let her stay at her house anymore. She was "an inconvenience and was in the way" as her mother put it. She had always been the one that people brushed under the rug and didn't notice or care about.

Jacob had been the only one who had made her feel special. They met 3 years ago at the restaurant where Reagan worked as the head waitress. He had been charming and sweet and was a dream come true for Reagan.

Until tonight.

She had never seen this coming. They had even talked about having kids in the future but when she told him the news of his baby, he flew into a heated rage. Telling her it was a mistake and to get rid of that "thing". He couldn't even say that it was a baby.

She cried herself to a fitful sleep and slept until 5 am. She laid tossing and turning in the bed pondering what she should do. Around 5:50 am she had had enough of torturing herself with unanswered questions. She slipped off the bed and dragged herself to the bathroom. Turning the water to the right temperature she stripped and stepped into the hot shower. She tried to relax as she gently massaged her fingers on her scalp with the shampoo running through her hair and thoroughly washed her body.

Pampering herself by shaving everything and washing her body, she started to feel a little better. She still didn't even know where to begin to start planning what she would do, but somehow she knew she'd make it.

She stood there with the water pouring down on her as she sighed shakily. It was going to be alright. She could make it. She's already been through a lot for sure raising a baby by herself wasn't too much to ask...

Or was it?
