Severus Snape x Reader • he can't keep us apart

Chapter 7

I didn't know where I was going I just knew that I needed some time. I started making my way to the astronomy tower. I hadn't been up there since last year when Cedric died... Cedric Diggory, my date to the Yule ball and I think safe to say one of the closest people that I had ever had in my life. I missed Cedric dearly and my heart shattered when he died. after his death I used to come to the astronomy tower daily to think about our memory's and to grieve.

I sat down and leaned against the wall looking over the highlands trying to get my mind off of things. I didn't care if class had already started, I had a lot of things to think about and I couldn't talk to anyone about it without revealing my secret. I just sat there playing with my wand when I heard someone coming up the stairs, I didn't bother to look because honestly I didn't even care about getting into trouble anymore. the foot steps came closer until a familiar boy sat down next to me without saying a word.
"So it's true then" I said out of nowhere finally looking at Harry "that he's back" I added. Harry said nothing he just nodded and gave me a sad smile, I leaned my head on his shoulder figuring we could both use some comfort right now "are you okay skye? You seemed worried when you walked out of the Great Hall, that's why I came looking for you" he spoke quietly leaning his head on mine "oh, yeah. I guess the whole Bellatrix Lestrange thing was just kind of a wake up call. It just shocked me, that's all" I could feel his head nodding against mine, after about ten minutes of a comfortable silence I checked the time and realized that potions was about to start "we better get going, wouldn't want Snape to Hex us both" I said slowly getting up, Harry let out a soft chuckle and followed.

We barely made it as we took our seats in the old classroom, Snape was already there but didn't say anything 'was he trying to ignore me so hard that he didn't even bother disciplining me anymore?' I thought to myself forgetting that he practically lived inside my mind. Snape turned around from the blackboard and looked at the class now sitting in front of him "turn to page 59, read the chapter and make notes" He sat down at his desk and I started off with the task not forgetting about keeping an eye out for his attitude today. Once again Snape was weirdly cold towards me, more then usual. When I asked him a question he just rolled his eyes and continued grading his papers without giving me a single glance. "Dismissed" he mumbled as the class was finally over, I stayed seated waiting for everyone to clear out wanting to approach the professor about certain things. When the classroom was finally empty I got up out of my seat and made my way to his desk, He didn't even look up nor did he acknowledge my Appearance at all. I cleared my throat after finally having enough "yes Miss Forbes?" He mumbled sounding annoyed "what's your problem?" I snapped finally grabbing his attention making him look at me "excuse me?! That is no way to speak to a teacher" he was getting angrier Now but I didn't care "oh I think we are way past THAT" I raised my chest feeling awfully confident with myself "what do you want" he sighed as he looked back down at his papers "you know exactly what i want" I was getting angrier now
"well in that case I suggest you get out because I am not discussing this with you" that sentence threw me over the edge making me shout at him "YES THE HELL YOU ARE. YOU CANT JUST GO AROUND KISSING ME AND PLAYING WITH MY FEELINGS ONE DAY AND THEN IGNORE ME THE NEXT IM NOT A BLOODY DOLL!" I let out a deep breathe happy to finally get that out of my system, I was expecting Snape to scream back at me or throw me out of his office or even slap me for that matter but for once in his life he remained calm "There is no need to yell, but your right. And i apologize for my actions Miss Forbes but I am your teacher and this is extremely inappropriate so I suggest you forget it ever happened and leave my classroom" my heart fell. I didn't say another word instead I threw him a nasty look and marched out of his classroom already planning what I was going to do "he's going to regret this" I whispered under my breathe, exited for what I had in store for him.

I skipped lunch and made my way straight to my dorm going to my closet, picking the Sluttiest thing I had and laying it on my bed for the next day. "Skye! Thank god you're here!" Jade chanted as she practically ran into the dorm "what's up?" I sat on my bed ready to hear what she had to say. "I'm just crazy nervous for tonight and I was wondering if you could maybe come to Hogsmeade later too, just to check that everything goes well. Please?"
"Okay let me get this straight" I answered laughing "you want me to come to Hogsmeade and spy on you and Draco" I gave her a shocked look "I know it's crazy but please I think I'd be calmer knowing that you were there you know?" She clasped her hands together making a begging sign. I just laughed at her helplessness and nodded "of course I will I was probably going to do it anyway so I might as well"
"Thank you so much!" Jade exclaimed as she jumped on my bed hugging me "don't worry about it. now come on let's get you ready"

We spend the rest of the day in our dorms getting her ready for her date. "You look amazing!" I shrieked giving her a hug being quite proud of my work "thanks" she said shyly "don't worry he'll love it! Now you better get going or you'll miss him" "bu-" jade started but before she could finish her sentence I interrupted her "I'll be going down there with Fred and George I'll catch up with you guys then." I walked her to our common room where Draco was already waiting for her. I walked over to Draco and stood in front of him "sir, your lady awaits you" I said bowing and gesturing my hands towards jade, Draco shot up and looked at her. He smiled as he held out his Hand towards her "M,lady" jade let out a soft giggle and took his hand. I shot them both a wink as they walked out together and then went to catch up with Fred and George.

I ran to the third floor wenn Jade and Draco were out of sight and met Fred and George at the one-eyed which statue "there she is" said Fred beaming at me "took you long enough mate" added George as he gave me a light punch on my arm "sorry the happy couple needed me, well shall we?" The boys gave each other a look smirked and nodded. Together we walked through the passage way and snuck out of honey dukes "I'll catch you boys later okay I need to go check up on Draco and Jade" "alright, don't get into any mischief skye" said George as he gave me a smirk I just gave him a "oh come off it" look and walked to the three broomsticks.

Before entering I peaked threw the window spotting Draco and Jade sitting at the third table on the other side of the bar deep in conversation, I subtly walked through the door not wanting them to notice me and got Jades attention by standing behind Draco with a small distance. When Jade saw me she almost said something but she caught herself before exposing us, trying to hold in my laugh I put up my thumbs putting them up and down asking if it's going well or not. I saw her give me a thumbs up under the table giving me my okay to leave. I walked back out of the three broomsticks and caught up with the boys at Zonkos, we spend about an hour in Hogsmeade before making our way back to Hogwarts.
