Teddy

"Good morning Mr. Teddy." I always say good morning to him. Mr. Teddy is my best bear. He's always there for me. He goes with me everywhere, and helps me when I don't know what to do. He loves Fruit Loops just like me! We eat together everyday.

When I finished my bowl, I hear a door slam. I guess Daddy is mad at mommy. I squeeze Mr. Teddy tight. I don't know why Daddy is always mad at mommy. She takes care of me, and my baby brother Jacob, and never gets to play with her friends. Daddy works hard, then comes smelling bad, and angry. I don't understand.

After I wake up from my nap, I hear Mommy screaming. "You need to do something with your life!" I hear Daddy yell at Mommy. "Bam, bam." Daddy is hitting Mommy. I squeeze Mr. Teddy so hard, he says it hurts him. "Should I help Mommy? Tell me.. Tell me." Tears roll down my face. "Go quietly to the kitchen. Call 911. Tell them Mommy needs help." I hurry and call them. I forgot who they were, but I knew they would help.

When they got there,they asked me to go to my room. They took Daddy.

Today me and Mommy, and Mr. Teddy are getting me a backpack. I'm gonna start Pre-K soon. Mommy says Daddy went away. I still have Mr. Teddy. He helps me everyday. He's going with me to Pre-K.h
